If you've anything to do with Industrial IoT devices. Some special ports, devices (connector compatibility/converters) have readily available drivers for Windows. For mac sometime manufacturer takes time or make it available only on demand. So If you don't work with such devices then prefer mac if ur budget permits otherwise go for Windows
I had once worked with monolithic power supply and wanted to test thier PMIC, they had a eval application, but man, it only works in window and i normally do my dev work at linux.
