FDid you enable adaptive recentering? With that you shouldn't need any deazone and the stick would stay centered during autopilot in the hornet.
Ryes I did, but it still jittered around when centered
FI've never experienced any jittering when in the hornet using the autopilot. I wonder if any of the filter settings may be causing that. A screenshot do the whole configuration page help to see if anyone notices an unusual value there. And maybe a video of the jittering showing the stick movement and also the config page as it happens.

FIn the video I can't see any jittering on the stick. However... Can you hit control + enter to see the controls in the lower left of the screen? Basically I want to see if in DCS the stick is actually centered.
FAnd it will show any jittering there more clearly too

FThat should not disengage the auto pilot. I'll try to see if I can somehow recreate that warning light when trying to activate the AP.
RI get the warrning when trying to engage it to begin with, can't even get it engaged unless I add that deadzone. Will be happy if we can do this without a DZ. 
FOk so then the jittering is the culprit for sure. Just for the fun of it... Does it happen if you put the potentiometer to 100%? Full spring force. No deadzone.

FI read somewhere here of someone having oscillations with friction enabled. Can you disable friction, damper and inertia. And if disabling them fixes it can you enable them one by one to see if any of them causes the jitter?

FThen some effect on telemffb may be causing the rumble and interfering with the AP. If I remember correctly I disabled the rpm effect on it or something like that.
FSince you are testing with the power at full military that effect would cause some significant periodic effect.
FI have my periodic effects set to 50% without issues.

ROk jet rumble is it. Disabling it made AP work. Now to see how far I need to turn it down
FYes I disabled it because I didn't like it.
FSince I have a buttkicker under my seat that gives me the rumble I need.
ROk 8 worked but was touchy. I turned it to 6 and it seems more reliable.

FThanks @Number481 for responding, however for me, MSFS is enabled in TelemFFB but the Rhino is not visible as a control device in the Sim's settings.

TNo worries, turn the little knob on the top of the Rhino, not the power button but the other little one.
Tyou should hear some beeping from the unit as it changes.

CThat happened to me accidentally already a few times as well. Happens easily when turning on the device. Since then I Always check it‘s set properly.
SHappened to me i dont remember exactly why but turned it to 0% because i wanted to do something went to bed and next day i was like wtf i going on rhino broke???
