KI'm getting weird button detection from my vkb mcgu all of a sudden, when I press a button it just flashes instead of staying constant. Its fine in loopback but in the configurator its weird. This reflects in trim releases as well because I can feel it jumping around

DI am using end stops in the configurator, but I get pretty bad bounce back and oscillations when I hit the end stops.
DAny settings to stop this or reduce this from happening?
HHi everyone, is there any where in the software we can see how much force we are pulling? Aka when I pull up on the collective I would to know how many NM I pulling to move it.
OI'm having some trouble with the physical to logical button mappings. I started using my Rhino with a Virpil stick so mapped everything in DCS with a 1:1 physical:logical.
A couple of weeks ago, i changed to a Tianhang stick, and rather than remap everything in DCS, I changed the physical:logical mappings in the VPForce software so all my DCS mappings stayed the same. This worked fine until today.
Today I tried loading someone eleses vpconf file, and their stick setting was for Virpil Alpha (not generic). Although I changed the setting back to generic, and loaded my button map from a backup, for some reason, the logical buttons aren't being sent to DCS, only the physical ones

OFor example when I press te second trigger detent (physical button 2) instead of logical button 1 being sent to DCS, physical button 2 is being sent instead
OLikewise physical button 1 should map to logical button 5 but instead when i press physical button 1 thats what DCS receives (ot logical 1). I've tried resetting the map and configuring it again but without any luck.
OIs there some setting that is preventing the logical buttons from being sent to DCS?
ONever mind - firmware update resolved the issue. Guess I should try that before posting here in the future
ZDid you ever find the fix for this? Can’t really find any answers skimming through the channel, but I notice this exact same thing
RI haven’t had time to take apart the pit. I’m off next week and will take out the rhino and tightened everything up and see if it helps.
ZI have it partially disassembled right now without going too deep, so if the stuff I tightened down fixes it I’ll let you know, otherwise we may have to go deeper haha.
*This little biatches got loose... front and rear one almost fell out totally... and that caused the sharp vibrations when passing through pitch axis center... THX!!!

KI had the same problem when I used it with the standard Virpil base.
So this issue is not related to any vibrations done by the Rhino.
Virpil should insert these screws with LocTide.

ZMight still be with the vibrations a bit, I’ve definitely torqued down those screws before when I had my CM3 base, but just had to again with the rhino. Definitely considering the loctite now

THello, I'm loving my VPForce Rhino that I recently received. I did have a question though. I see the configuration provides a way to change "Axis Scaling" in the "Effects" tab. Is there also a way to introduce an "Axis Offset" so that I can have a non-standard "center" to the joystick? Even better if I can control via TelemFFB. This would be very useful for helicopters where you really want the "center" position to be where the stick is about 50% the way back. Helicopters spend a lot of time with the stick a long way forward and almost never with it all the way back, and reaching forward can get tiring with a long extension. Even better would be being able to supply complete custom curves.
HEasiest way to mess with the center position is messing with the calibration values. I wouldn’t recommend though, but rather bring the base closer to the seat if possible. Also in most helicopters the cyclic position in cruise is slightly forward. Perhaps an inch or two. If you are „a long way forward“, you‘re going way to fast probably. But maybe that is a matter of different perception or definition.

For example, if you pull back on the stick as far as you can, but you hit your chair and you only reach 80% output, you can scale down that part of the axis by 20-25% and get full range without also grinding down your nuts.

TYou are quite right that the stick position should only be slightly forward in cruise .. however, (sadly) some helicopters in MSFS 2024 aren't modelled that way and require holding a lot of forward stick to go at normal cruise speed. My arm gets tired reaching so far on long cruises, hence wanting to change the center point. I can somewhat reduce the effect by putting a ridiculous curve in the MSFS axis configuration .. but only somewhat as MSFS doesn't have as much control here as DCS, sadly.

RHi QQ question. I keep getting the Rhino cutting out...checking the log I get a FAULT_UNDERVOLTAGE, and then the stick resets. Any idea what the cause of the UNDERVOLTAGE is - I was having no issues prior to the latest firmware update. Do I need a more power USB hub?

Mhello i have some hard time recognizing the rhino base after dcs is started. yesterday evening it worked, didnt know how i do that because its first time installing. seems that he cant find the file but it is there in the dcs folder. Dont know why he is searching in dcs open beta because it should be the official dcs directory?
Mi was reinstalling the next level platform manager because i had it installed before. now its working again. i dont think thats as it should be?

KDepends on the other tools in your export lua. If one of the tools is not cleanly programmed and does return on the right way, it will kill tools later in the file.
Sometimes you have to play arond with the order of the entries. If you have a working version make a backup or take a note about the order. So if a tool cleans the export lua (I had this case before) you don't need to start from scratch.

JI just updated my firmware after a noification telling me its needed. Now it claims i need to update the configurator, not seeing any ways of directly updating it so i assume i need to replace the entire folder with the fresh install but what file holds all my settings? I want to be able to copy those over to save me some headache

SHello :)) Getting very close to my queue number (registered in July!). Can I ask roughly how long does it take from payment to shipping the unit out? Also do you think it’s okay for the unit to remain in the box for 5-6months before I unbox it? Reason being I have to temporarily move to a diff country for work for about 6-7 months. Thank you 
Fyou have to export your current profile first. the settings probably are just saved to your device currently.
BIt might depend. But I got unit availability notice. Payment, and shipping notification in like five hours. shouldn't be much more than a few days at most.
JThanks, since i havent exported properly before i had to import what was saved on the devide and set the rest manually this time but will make sure to keep the exports updated 
Fso I just came out of a flight sim hiatus and fired up DCS (after updating firmware of the Rhino, FFB configurator and TelemFFB) and have issues getting the effects that I got beforehand.
like engine rumble etc. I can see it getting read and displayed in TelemFFB but the Rhino isn't doing anything.
regular magnetic trimming etc. does work though.
