SHello :)) Getting very close to my queue number (registered in July!). Can I ask roughly how long does it take from payment to shipping the unit out? Also do you think it’s okay for the unit to remain in the box for 5-6months before I unbox it? Reason being I have to temporarily move to a diff country for work for about 6-7 months. Thank you 
Fyou have to export your current profile first. the settings probably are just saved to your device currently.
BIt might depend. But I got unit availability notice. Payment, and shipping notification in like five hours. shouldn't be much more than a few days at most.
JThanks, since i havent exported properly before i had to import what was saved on the devide and set the rest manually this time but will make sure to keep the exports updated 
Fso I just came out of a flight sim hiatus and fired up DCS (after updating firmware of the Rhino, FFB configurator and TelemFFB) and have issues getting the effects that I got beforehand.
like engine rumble etc. I can see it getting read and displayed in TelemFFB but the Rhino isn't doing anything.
regular magnetic trimming etc. does work though.
can seem to find out what the issue is.
has this been an issue recently or did I mess up something?

FI guess they are all being displayed, yes.
NYou have Pot #2 assigned to Periodic effects... whether or not you actually have a pot#2 (base Rhino does not).. the value is at %0.8
Foh, wow. how do I reset the value? just disabling pot no. 2?
Fyeah, disabling the pot no. 2 helped. wonder how it got set to 0.8%

SI have started using VPforce-TelemFFB; was flying F-14 with AB on, suddenly my Rhino just disarmed

PPI’m trying this profile, I calibrated and once saved the calibration it starts to oscillate…
GI've had two issues on longer flights in DCS where my stick went completely dead. Going from full FFB to nothing and no buttons working. I was able to solve it by hitting the killswitch and then turning it back on and the stick came right back to life both times and functioned just fine until the end of the flihgt...but, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on a potential cause I could investigate a fix?
KWhich version of the firmware are you using?
KI mainly fly A-10CIIs in DCS. The Rhino used to jump forwards a bit as soon as I entered the cockpit of the A-10. I've read here that this is normal. But recently (maybe since one of the last DCS updates) the stick stays in the centre. However, DCS now thinks I have already pulled the stick back a bit. As a result, the aircraft always pulls upwards. As long as I fly slowly, the trim is sufficient, but when I fly fast, maximum trim down is no longer sufficient. I then always have to hold against it. If I switch off FFB in the DCS misc settings, the effect does not occur. And I don't have this problem with the Hornet either. Has anyone else noticed this? Or does anyone know a solution?

HAlso - no curves set in DCS, so this is something new and really annoying to fly with even though it might be realistic.
GI’ll need to check later today when I get back from a business trip. I was chatting with subsonic via a PM and he had a pretty good theory that it might be my power supply. The times that I’ve had the stick go dead on me has been usually at the end of a longer mission when I’m in the carrier pattern and of course getting a lot of different forces on the control surfaces with the jet having the landing gear down, etc.. He said he’s saying a similar occurrence when the motors are drawing a lot of power from the PSU and it’s not able to keep up. So I may need to explore buying a more powerful PSU unsure.
SWhen you trim the stick in DCS does the physical stick and virtual stick in cockpit move forward and back (with trim)?
THere are my settings, working well for me.
HI copied your settings @TrigaNZ and now it worked. Kind of wondering if unchecking "adaptinve recentering" somehow did the trick, but not sure. Stick still moves forward, but not by even half as much as it used to.

KMy problem was related to "Balance Spring". After deactivating it the problem is solved.

[Hey, since today I have a weird issue.
When switching profiles on the rhino I get one very hard hit on the stick and the y axis motor switches off.

IHello everyone! Sorry for the question maybe repetitive, a problem afflicts me; when I carry out sudden maneuvers the Rhino goes into protection and unhooks the ff. Can you give me some advice to solve?

LWhat kind of settings do you have in DCS with F4? Every other planes Rhino works very well but with F4 feeling is like that a joystick would be without FF.
LThe F-4 has a unique controls implementation in DCS. Let me find the instructions... this was discussed shortly after Lead Sled was released. If I won't find them I can send you my settings. You should tweak the in-game F-4E specific control settings too.

I was able to set up a default spring effect in the VPForce FFB configurator, but is there any way to get it to deactivate if I open a game with ANY FFB effect? This is similar to the way the old MS FFB2 joystick works.
The intention is to be able to play FFB games and others with no FFB effects (such as Elite) without having to open the program and make changes manually when I change games

NThat is how it works.
- Sliders on the Settings tab define the max applied value any given effect can achieve when an effect is started with a gain of "%100".
- The effect settings on the Effects tab are local, meaning that if a game comes along and starts a spring effect, it will override the spring effect you have configured in the effects tab unless you have the "sticky" checkbox enabled.
JCool, the reason why I was thinking that maybe that was not the case is if the game loads other effects but not a spring effect when it starts. Maybe IL-2 before I get any airspeed, or unsure what effect is technically used for helos. That's great to hear
CHey guys, I'm running a 200mm extension. It causes the stick to sag a little forward. Any recommendations on a setting where I can tighten that up?
DYep, go to the VP configurator/ effects tab and you can try: adaptative centering and/or static force and/or balance spring. Cf my capture below

DFrom memory it's balance spring the most useful. But try the others settings. For me it's the best settings for my joystick

BIt appears that my experience of having no FFB in Cliff of Dover is not universal and others are reporting that it works as expected even without the configuarator or telem running. Can anyone else confirm or perhaps point to something obvious that I'm missing. I should add that the rhino seems to work fine in other titles. Thanks
RI am still having issues with my stick. The DC plug is in place. It was sitting there, nothing happening (but on of course) and suddenly the stick powered down so I don't believe that it is the DC power. The USB port is a little wobbly, but a different error occurs when the USB plug is pulled out, so I don't believe that it is a USB fault or hub fault. Log below attached. Any ideas?
