What exactly is the best service for TURN servers to support WebRTC when symmetric NAT's can't establish the p2p? Is the CDN a separate context here, and how do I figure out pricing? I'm an idiot.

i think this is an issue on my side with how the presigned url is being built. it works for regular videos though so im thinking it might be content type metadata related

Cloudflare has a TURN server you can create and use, located in their "Calls" section under TURN. You will create a server and get the API credentials to use in your backend. You will then use the endpoints they provide you, and get credentials for users using a curl request to their endpoint to request user turn server credentials to deliver to the client.

quick question about cloudflare stream watermark profiles - we're building a platform where creators can post content and we need to add their username as watermark (like "site.com/username"). but i've seen some limits on number of watermark profiles you can create. since we'll have many creators, is this the right approach? or should we look into alternatives like pre-processing videos with ffmpeg?

I’m working on a React project with Cloudflare Stream and @eyevinn/webrtc-player. The stream takes 1-5 seconds, or sometimes up to 1 minute, to load. Also, event handlers like on("playback"), on("ready"), and on("error") aren’t working for me. I’m streaming from OBS. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Hello,

I have integrated a Cloudflare webhook to notify my server's API when a stream recording is ready. Then, I use the Cloudflare API (stream/{identifier}/downloads) to download the recording in my code.

It works correctly for all recordings, but when the duration exceeds 4 hours, the webhook doesn't notify my server's API at all.

Has anyone experienced this issue or can help me? Thanks!

I've noticed an issue over the past month or so. After streaming for an extended period, typically around an hour, the stream stops delivering video. I checked the video player on the Cloudflare dashboard and still not loading there, and OBS isn't reporting any disconnects, dropped frames, or other issues.

What's strange is that even if I stop the stream and start streaming again, the video still doesn't deliver. The only solution seems to be waiting for about an hour before it starts working again. It's a really odd problem. Times are estimates here but generally close.

@1984 Ford Laser I'm not using either. For the live stream I am using the HLS Manifest URL on my site but like I said the video player on the stream dashboard is experiencing the same issue as well. I'll do some more test and see if I can record more details about everything.

and see if it has --enable-libsrt--enable-libsrt in it. If so you could try sending to Stream with SRT instead of RTMPS, SRT is often better for unstable internet connections (if that is the case here).

Can anyone confirm that animated thumbnails don't count towards streamed minutes when viewed - seems vague on the thumbnails page in the docs, as it mentions Stream Analytics ("Viewing animated thumbnails does not count toward billed minutes delivered or minutes viewed in Stream Analytics." - emphasis mine)

Is there a reasonable limit on the number of live inputs that can be created, beyond general API limits? I would be looking at creating, then days later deleting, a couple dozen channels a week. Any issues with this?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to embed a video as a Hero Baner on my website and everything worked fine, I uploaded my video, got the embed snippet, and tweaked until everything would work. I am on Wordpress and using Elementor.

My issue seems simple but I cannot find a solution, when I check on tablet or phone the image does not fit the screen, instead it's stuck on top of the page and leave a lot of blank space below, instead of filling the page . I have tried many things but it will just always keep the aspect ratio.

Does anyone know how to solve this? I can provide my snippet, or other information if needed. And my apologies if it wasn't the right place to post this question.

I got that part working with Uppy on the frontend and Laravel on the backend. However, cancelling an upload is the issue as the TUS client library expects the termination extension on the server as you know. So I’ve got a half-working uploader here lol.
