AWould be cool to be able to grow vines and stuff like that too, but I understand how hard it is to make this kind of thing keyframeable in Unreal.
AQuestion: do path scatter objects have collisions enabled, so that other actors that have physics react to them (bounce...etc.)?

DIn the Quixel Megascans view in our Content Browser, you will see assets you have downloaded from the Bridge Plugin. If you haven't downloaded any, I don't think it is possible any more. But if you do have stuff downloaded, you may need to check your path settings, more info here: https://docs.polygonflow.io/getting-started/user-interface/content-browser/megascans

If you bake it to a static mesh you will find in the the project Content Drawer and can adjust it. But the procedural mesh from our Road tool is being produced from our code

THey guys, I need some info on licensing for a studio. I run my freelance license and on most project been fine running on my own system. However I am getting asked to work on more projects with studios with walled networks that donβt allow any internet so would need a different license. Ais there a way to bake this surface scatter in one single object with instanced meshes inside? When I hit "bake", it creates a ton of these single meshes, it would be much nicer to just ditch the parametrization and just have a HISM actor with thousands of instances, kind of like when you bake a PCG. Is that possible?
AYou could delete the tool (from the panel's dots menu on the to right) and basically have a non-editable HISM, which is what the tool outputs by default
Aoh, since you put it that way, i guess as long as I don't try to edit it, there's no computational strain, then, right? I wasn't sure how it works (the problem with this specific one is that i've used the whole landscape to generate on, then masked with proximity to a bunch of curves - so density was up at 5 - so i wanted to get rid of the computational evidence of my ham-handedness :)) now i realize i could've just used a ghost plane to spawn these, then project onto the landscape inside the tool )
Ayeah there's no compute process on the object unless it changes. The change does include subtle things like transform updates and so on though, but even then you can just select the Freeze option in the tool's menu, and that should be it. You can unfreeze it later if you want, the tool won't have any compute cost until then.

LQuestion: I created this road yesterday, and today it is "flying" like this:
LI want to edit it, but how do I edit something alread created? If I select the mesh and go to edit nothing happens, If I go to "Create Road" nothing happens...
LActually the same goes to everything created in Dash, how can I come back and edit it? Whatever Dash tool I select in the outliner, doesnt make any difference to Dash Edit, it always show "Road"...

Regarding editing the problem is that you have the new empty road tool pinned in the Tools Panel, so that's why it ain't updating when you select another tool
And btw, you can use the icon on top left left of the tools panel to open an list of all active tools as well

LThe one I have selected is not what appears in edit even without the pin

DIf I understand your video correctly, you want to create an extra road (for roadlines or something). The step you are missing is opening up a new road tool from Dash and then apply your preset to that.
When you are applying the preset now, you do it to the same road tool instead of a new one. Alternatively you could use the road tool menu to duplicate the first road tool

JAny clue how to get thumbnail images to load in Dash Content Browser? About half the time it appears like the following. I've checked CPU, memory, and GPU memory. All seem to have plenty of room to handle the processing. I'm using a Windows 11 system.
