CI ended up just calling
npx wrangler pages deploy directly from a GitHub action instead of using Cloudflare's Build Git integration
Cjust added a url rewrite rule that makes hosts that
a. try to go to pages they shouldn't (and probably don't exist) like
b. have scraper user agents (or no UA)
now get sent to robots.txt so they can read it again :)
... on the off chance bot fight and WAF doesn't stop them

I have my react application currently present in AWS S3 and being served with cloudflare. It's for a business and I expect to have some files (pdfs and others, maybe even videos) being served through this app soon too.
I'm thinking of shifting to cloduflare pages. What pros and cons should I expect?

OIm using some aws services like lamba currently over there
OAim is to keep it as cheap as possible
SI just went through the same. Reason I prefer Cloudflare is that I use them as my overall WAF proxy. It's cheaper and better equipped (IMHO). I have an AWS service that runs on ECS and my ALB has ingress rules that only allow IPs from Cloudflare. So it's pretty secure. I then run my web clients in Cloudflare using their Pages service. It's pretty nice. Plus, I've moved all my DNS to Cloudflare. It just makes for a nice separation of public/client stuff vs private/backend stuff.
I use Terraform and there are providers for both AWS and Cloudfront. So no issues there.
As for functions, I still use SQS and lambda because only my backend uses them for now as background workers. But I can see using some of the Cloudflare stuff for API proxy work, ex: auth, schema validations, etc.

PHi! I uploaded a simple index.html file, but when i open a random path(like mysite.com/test123) it still shows up. Any ideas why? I'm guessing it should show a 404 page, or at least redirect to the homepage in this case. Any ideas how can i fix this?

I recently finished setting up my Angular 19 SSR (Server-Side Rendering) project using Cloudflare Pages. I also integrated a Cloudflare Function that performs a GET request, and everything is working smoothly after deploying it to Cloudflare's network.
My next goals are to integrate Hono to handle user registration flows (including password hashing) and JWT (JSON Web Token) creation for authentication.
Does anyone have recommendations for the initial setup of Hono within Cloudflare Functions?
My main goal is to configure it properly and run a simple console.log to understand how it works and gain experience with this tool.

My hunch is that Pages checks for the previous Bun lockfile name and uses that to run Bun instead of npm. With the new Bun lockfile, Pages tries to use npm, which may break things during build (it breaks for our monorepo that uses Bun workspace:* syntax)

IThe new Bun lockfile is not yet supported on Pages.
JIf you want a more stable package manager, I'd recommend sticking with npm or pnpm.
I^ while bun might be neat they've shown a complete disregard for backward compatibility and often make quite breaking changes in minor/patch releases
SWhile that's true, there are other hosting options that have already shipped Bun 1.2 support. I don't think it's an issue that CF doesn't support 1.2 yet, it's 2 days old. But it should be on the radar since CF Pages supports Bun.
AHi everyone, new in here! I just deployed my site, which uses Eleventy to convert Notion pages into a fast website. Everything went fine, and the site showed up correctly. Then, I added a footer to the site. The footer includes social icons in SVG format, and on localhost it renders properly. However, after updating Cloudflare, the SVG icons lose their CSS formatting and show up as huge page-wide elements. I verified from Github that the CSS is same there as on my computer, but for some reason Cloudflare Pages doesn't seem to find the CSS for the icons from my CSS stylesheet. I tried purging the cache but it didn't help. Anyone here who could help me figure out what is wrong?
