Is it me or is the DCS F-4 a total pain to trim out nicely? It feels like the instrument trainer I used to fly in flight school 25 years ago, one moment you're flying at the right heading , alt and speed. Look away for a split second and it's in a 3000 ft/min dive. What the hell?! Am I missing a setting or something?

From what I’ve heard that is working as intended. I don’t feel like I can ever get a level trim on that thing either. When it’s almost there even one tap of the button always overtrims

Exactly, it's really irritating. I've never flown a real airplane that was that hard to trim to fly level. The instrument trainer we had did behave like that and that was to make us better instrument pilots.

Yeah, same. Always fighting for trimming.

I find it’s easiest to trim slightly nose down and then use some muscle memory to hold back pressure on the stick. Also, I like to use the altitude hold when possible, just be sure to bind master caution reset.

I find it easier to trim when the adaptive recentering is off.

Really gives you another level of respect for the Blue Angels pilots who flew the F4 before the transition to F18’s.

Now of course they’ve transitioned again and they fly the Super’s.

But yeah formation flying in the Phantom….

Was seriously a next level skill.

Flying formation in a hornet is balls easy as compared.

Hi all, I just got my Rhino up and running, and everything works fine, but telemffb not working in DCS. Force feedback also enabled in DCS, and also tried the auto DCS setup in system setup. Anyone have suggestions? Also the Button/hat Source in Loopback not saving. Screenshot attached Thank you

Just checking: But stick will be practically dead until you are in a loaded and started aircraft.

And any changes to configurator needs to be applied and stored to stick.

Stick works in DCS but no telemffb. Nothing shows in settings/master instance when i am in aircraft. I use "store settings" everytime i change anything in Configurator.

I don't see references to telemFFB in DCS log. Probably the module isn't loaded. Can you attach the export.lua from Saved Games directory.

Anyone observing a different behavior since the last version? I noticed that the first time I get into a DCS module, it does not seem to always take the correct profile specified in TelemFFB. I have to open VB_Configurator and import and apply manually the profile, then it works ok, and then it seems to be able to switch profile correctly from one module to another, and work as well correctly for the rest of the day, each time I get into DCS. Does it have to do with how things are kept into the memory of the Rhino? Just wandering if it is my set-up or something that other people have been noticing since last update?

I am keeping on having issue since the last update. In the middle of a DCS game, the Rhino stopped and told me that boot loader was detected. I started boot loader and it tells me to upgrade the firmware although the firmware was already up to date, I upgraded anyway. After, the update whatever profiles that I load in VPForce, the Spring force is null, although all this other parameters seems correct.

This was 100% it, like night and day. All of the TelemFFB options were working, but no stick centering. Now I'm fighting the stick to roll, pitch, etc, which I can only assume is proper. Thank you!
