FForce trim is holding your cyclic in place by electromagnetic clutches that you interrupt when holding the button. Aka you interrupt, move stick, release -> new center.
With trim he probably refers to the hat trimming where you move the new center by pressing the hat in a direction with the system moving the stick there.

BIt simply brings the grip closer, so the base can be placed so the belt don't rub against my seat.

VWhich profile to use when flying Falcon BMS, it has very limited set of FFB reaction like too high load and missile firing
FThe F16 is a fly-by-wire aircraft which have little FFB in the first place, and then its also a force sensing stick which basically has no feedback. I assume there will be little you can do unless you make something with telemFFB
BThere are some basic effects, you can for example feel g's as you pull, with telemffb of course. And you can use a profile with significantly reduced throw range to make it feel real snappy.
VOh, sorry I was using the Rhino for F-15C which has its own avonics. I use the other base for side stick planes.
VSo, in my case, I can just manually load the DCS F-15C profile and use it as is, right?

AReducing the range/throw of the stick really wouldn’t hold a candle to how a force sensing stick feels, regardless of ramping up resistance
AIt would just make for a strange feeling which likely wears on the internal mechanics quite a bit, and limits your manoeuvrability in game

TI haven’t watched the video but also play with static force. I do t use any balance spring and only use static force
BSame, with my z-extension and cm2 grip, only thing I've added is 6% static force on pitch.

RDCS creates a profile for each iteration of controller, for each plane and cockpit postion. It will automatically use that profile whenever DCS detects that controller is active. You will want to save these profiles, one for each device\plane somewhere you can get to them. I use a folder inside of my saved games folder for this.

WYeah, even the director himself delivered the grips, since he was travelling to Klaipeda. But he seemed to be in a hurry and didn't stay for a coffee

RButton mapping is specific to each sim since the commands aren’t standardized. But, among the different DCS aircraft you can load a similar set up as a template.
BThose look nice, and surprisingly affordable.
