On your old DNS provider you would have had a number of records (A, AAAA, or CNAME) that point to your web host. When you switch nameservers to Cloudflare, you need to recreate those records on the DNS tab of the Cloudflare dashboard.
You'll need to move everything over, including those records. Your old DNS provider won't handle anything related to DNS any more so everything will be controlled through the DNS page on the Cloudflare dashboard.
in the dash board where it shows all those DNS records it picked up from my IBM DNS settings it points to the IP of my website is that correct , that shouldnt change right
I wish it was that simple... I know how to change the name servers, and I did, but it throws an error to contact support because domains expired yesterday. I contact support and they confirm it and try to make me pay for a renewal and then transfer just to have to pay for another renewal :-(((( is there someone from cloudflare who can help me pull these domains using the transfer code? This I can get easily...
The stats for my worker show a "CPU time" of about 3ms in the box at the top of the page, but the "median CPU time" and the quantiles lower down are nearer 20ms. I'm guessing the latter is what's true, but what's that first number about?
I’ve been facing an issue for the past few days where both my website and apps have been completely down. They are not functioning as expected and only keep loading indefinitely. After conducting some investigation, I found that my hosting provider is Cloudflare. When I reached out to the GoDaddy team, they informed me that the issue originates from Cloudflare.
Could someone please assist me in resolving this as soon as possible? This is critical for my operations.
Hello! I'm planning to change nameservers of my domain to Cloudflare's (aliza.ns.cloudflare.com, max.ns.cloudflare.com). Should I worry about the connection from my China clients to the nameservers?
I don't understand: If I have a domain (for example: main.mydomain.com) that is proxied, why when creating a CNAME pointing to it (pointingtomain.mydomain.com) with the proxy disabled, points to the server IP instead of main.mydomain.com Cloudflare IPs?
If I add a different domain instead, I will need to create a cloudflare account, etc in order to have it proxied?
