HoyoPlay Launcher (1.5.2) won't launch after trying to update

I tried to update the launcher to 1.5.2 using the launcher. But it crashed automatically and cannot be launched afterwards.

Click to run the launcher -> launcher seems to launch for a sec with its icon being in the taskbar/notification bar -> crashes and it's gone.

because that'll help mitigate it being a Mesa/9070 thing because I don't know if the flatpak package for that is up to date for 9070s yet

I did switch to Proton - Latest after reading from other threads, so perhaps that's why. But I was running on Proton Experimental

It seems to be rather unstable however, as repeated attempts to launch and close will result in crash

I honestly can't tell you at this point. that thread says you need wine 10 staging, and I can't really provide assistance with that as I stick only to GE-Proton

I have this issue too after updating,
And it worked when I used wine instead of proton, but the gamepath cannot be found

Then when I reinstalled the launcher, and I get an error when I launch it using wine

With proton GE it won't run at all though
