Project transfer limit

Hi,

We were using Neon for some temporary storage, now I need to download that data off the platform however our network transfer limit is reached.

It seems bizarre that I can't even download my database with

pg_dump

with this limit reached. Project id is

long-sun-93603002, and my data is effectively locked out behind a paywall.

Am I missing something here? Thanks.

Hey!
Going to forward your project internally to see what we can do

and no, there's no bandwidth left to send your pg_dump over the network. Same thihng would happen if you ran out of CU, there would be no CU left to spin up the db to pg_dump it.

Hey @WreckNoFear, we're always happy to manually unblock folks here but keep in mind you're using a free tier w/ free compute & storage resources. We have to lock down usage at some point to counter abuse

I bumped your data transfer limit. Can you check if it works now?

Have you used the full 5GB transfer in the last day? If not, could you send me your project-id? l'll forward it to see if there was an issue with how your quota was reset.

Yes, I've used the 5GB transfer. That's the only one that exceeded my limit. This is my project ID silent-meadow-24659387
