also might be worth considering an "APECS" jacket if you want something water resistant/goretex

i have too many common projects and have had pairs since mid-00s yet have never felt the urge to buy the standard #menswear white achilles. don't hate em, but it's kinda odd how it became the ur-shoe for so many and started this weird cottage industry of not-quites
