Keyboard Shortcuts

I just installed Bazzite today and am mostly very impressed and satisfied, but I'm running into an issue with keyboard shortcuts. I installed 1Password (using their terminal command) and was trying to pull up the Quick Access menu and the keyboard shortcut defined in the application wasn't registering. I thought maybe it was a thing with 1Password. Then, using the official OBS from Bazaar, I got it all set up, registered my keyboard shortcuts, and behold, they only work when OBS is focused. I just switched over from Linux Mint. These worked just fine on Mint. Is there something I'm missing? I tried looking at the "global" shortcuts defined in System Settings to see if there was something hijacking the particularly command combinations, but no luck....

Gyro breaking on wake from sleep

Marvel Rivals Crashing on boot.

Uses a Marvel Crash Reporter:Unreal process has crashed: UE-Marvel. Have tried just about every compatibility tool (even custom ones) and commands I can find. Only happens on my OnexFly with an AI 9 HX 370, it's not happening on my Nvidia laptop.

New Install: Stuck on Steam/Bazzite Logo

I recently installed bazzite using a USB to boot. Everything seemed to install correctly but after a few minutes of nothing happening on the Verifying Installation screen it changes to just the logo screen. I tried resetting and kept going back to the same thing. I also tried to restart without the USB and nothing shows in the bios as an option to boot from. Not sure if the main installation process actually didn't work or this bug is preventing the installation from finishing....

bazzite failed to connect to system scope

i wanted to quickly ask if anyone got some fancy commands i could run from inside maintanance to magically fix things or if i have to do a reinstall. basically bazzite was not shutdown properly and that corrupted the system, and now it wont start. i have a unique circumstance that there's absolutely no way to interact with bios let alone usb, unless purge bootable part of the ssd. in theory i could rip out the ssd and put it in something else, but at that point im probably just gonna try mint. both boot option 1 and 2 are affected....

Solution:

im just moving the laptop to mint, its clear from looking around that theres a list of major issues, i would not suggest this variant of linux to new users in its current state.

How do I install wifi driver/firmware?

The wifi driver in my MacBook10,1 (MY2017 intel 12" macbook) which has a BCM4350 wifi chip. Picture below I'm trying Bazzite and Bluefin each on this and trying brcmfmac driver, but only 2.4ghz wifi works. (asking here since Bazzite is largest)...

Trouble with installing VirtualBox Guest Additions.

Hi everyone, To assess whether I want to leave windows and go to linux I am currently testing via Oracle virutal box from a windows 10 PC (virtualizing Bazzite). To adjust the screen size of the bazzite virtual desktop I tried to install the "VirtualBox Guest Additions" "VBox_GAs_7.1.12. Unfortunately, when I mount the CD in the virtual machine nothing happens....

So I wanna run the Bolt Launcher (third party Jagex launcher for Runescape), but I keep getting the following error and I don't know how to fix it as I don't use Chromium. "The command 'ostree ...' exited with command 1" (No previous Fedora install, dual-boot)

Hi, I'm trying to install Bazzite on my desktop PC, but it keeps failing with the error above. Searching it up shows solutions involving deleting the /EFI/Fedora folder, but it isn't there for me. I've also deleted the Fedora UEFI entry that the Fedora Workstation Live ISO created with no success. The failure seems to coincide with a bunch of errors printed in the "packaging-log" tmux window followed by a grub2-mkconfig error. I've tried disabling Secure Boot, manually and automatically partitioning, installing with and without encryption enabled and nothing seems to make a difference. I also tried installing Fedora Kinoite to try a rebase but I got the exact same error. (I double-checked after that, no Fedora folder in EFI)...

got a kernel panic now I'm stuck unable to boot

My PC got a Kernel Panic and now I can't get it to boot. I think I made a mistake by hard shutting down my pc. Can it be fixed? Please help. Been using bazzite for 5 months now I don't wanna go back to windows.

boot loop when returning to gaming interface whilst docked

Hi there seems to be a boot loop when returning to gaming interface whilst docked, forcing me to force shutdown and boot it back up. Is there any way to workaround this? (Rog ally) It likes plays one second of the bazzite jingle and then it stops and then loops...

Black boxes flickering on screen since last update

While the most recent update fixed my GPU crashes, it introduced a new issue that I realized just recently. I have a black box flickering on the screen, varying sizes, seemingly never the entire screen. I suspect an error with adaptive sync, because the games it happened with either are locked to a certain fps, or can't fullscreen properly on Bazzite: Warframe, Street Fighter 6, and Crafty Survivors. Anyhad had or fixed this problem?...

Hori Steam Controller not recognized

Works like a regular Xbox controller when it should have the Steam button show for the middle button. The quick access, back, and m1 and m2 buttons are not functional.

Digital vibrance GNOME?

Black screen and warning

I installed a bazzite kne linux on my pc and it was working fine . But after a couple days the issue started . Black screen. After starting bazzite and that warning. Plz help . I'm using nvidia bazzite kne for gtx 950 and it was working. I tried reinstalling Linux but the issue started again after 1 day
