Vault Issue

So I was playing around with bazzite and saw a feature called vault, I made a vault just to test it out, but when I tried to delete it an error message popped up saying: "Cannot delete the vault; there are other vaults with overlapping paths." Tried changing the paths, it didn't work. I'm new to Linux and Bazzite

Sober will only open in the background*

Bit of a wierd one, for some reason Sober will only launch in the background. On the desktop GNOME edition, log attached (though unhelpfully, there seems to be no errors and it just gets stuck, at least from what I can see). This is where that asterisk comes in though. If you launch via the desktop shortcut, it opens in the background. If you launch it via the command line, it opens in the background. If you launch it via Bazzar, it works with no problems. What!? Shrugs ...

Warhammer 40k:Darktide crashing to desktop

Having random crashes when playing Warhammer 40k:Darktide While playing the game entire desktop will ficker to black and then crash to desktop with all open programs, except for terminal, crashing. Terminal will become unresponsive as well. Unable to exit it at all unless I do full restart. I included a screen recording of terminal from post crash. Never seen this behaviour before. So far I've had no issues from any other games, even ones I'd consider more demanding like Cyberpunk or Monster Hunter:Wilds. Any advice would be appreciated as I'm pretty stumped. I verified everything is up to date. I was unable to reproduce this issue while on Windows. Thinking this is KDE crashing or an app within KDE causing the issue, but I'm pulling straws on this one....

Streaming apps like Hulu?

Has anyone found a solid controller-friendly way to set up Hulu, Netflix, etc through steam? I thought I'd use waydroid and get the android apps, but waydroid seems broken on my system (when I try to open the play store, it just hangs on the Google play logo forever). I also tried using the bazzite media apps installer through bazzite portal, but the Hulu app (all I've tried so far) seems to have a lot of different bugs and doesn't really function.

Bazzite meets Steam BPM Fullscreen

So the issue i'm facing is if BPM isn't running in window mode the screen goes lack as soon hit esc/home bottom to open up the menu in the screenshot same happens if i exit BPM or alt tab to desktop. on Mobile it even loses the connection and shows my Host as "offline" while Steam crashout fully, can't quit the application , not even via Resource Monitor. the thing is im using 2 steam links ( the actual Hardware) as i access the internet browser etc on my TV and Beamer with it. ...

GP104 Audio Missing Bazzite

Sound Card Output is Swapped/Mixed up

Creative Sound Blaster AE-5 5.1 analogue connection. Centre/Sub output and Rear output are literally swapped. If I swap the plugs, it fixes the issue, but then it's plugged incorrectly and when I boot into Windows, I'll have to swap plugs.... I'd like to figure out how I can swap them to the way they should be.

is anyone else having apps just be slow or laggy in some form?

because ever since I had bazzite most apps would be laggy for some reason and even if I used it on windows in the past they just ran better on windows then bazzite even if it's a flatpack or RPM files

Bazzite won't recognize Kamvas 13 gen 3

Hello. I'm ussing Bazzite and I have issues with my Kamvas 13 gen 3. It seems like my computer won't recognize it, and have the following error like it appears on this post. I installed the drivers via the ujust command as I saw on this post https://opentabletdriver.net/Wiki/Install/Linux but my screen seemingly does not recognize my tablet properly, unlike this person on this screenshot https://discord.com/channels/1072614816579063828/1268470456441110568/1268921774050119741 What can I do? The sensitivity works but I'd like to properly configure my tablet if possible, like using the buttons and shortcuts as how that screenshot showed. Is there something else I can do?...

installled packages in distrobox container won't translate into apps

I installed .deb package of Virtualbox 6.0.14(chosen for allowing 3d support in Windows XP VMs) on my Ubuntu distrobox container, but it won't translate into exportable apps(or at least detected by "exportable apps" button) how to make any apps installed from package files installed in appropriate distros in distrobox detectable to be exported?...

Can’t Access HHD after update (Ally X on Steam OS)

I saw emudecky had an update, and updated but afterwards my configured controller layout for certain games stopped working so I attempted to roll it back to a previous version. After the reboot my default controller in SteamOS changed to the Xbox controller, and I seem to have lost the ability to access the quick controls like TDP and everything else in the quick menu. I also can’t manage to change the SteamOS controller back to the dual sense layout. Additionally the Oct 2 steam update keeps appearing no matter how many times I’ve gone through with the update....

and seems like you're on really old version of bazzite. switch to desktop mode and open "system update" app from start menu, let it do it's thing
