Rog Ally X random cpu tdp regression after sleep (not 544mhz bug)
Sometimes after waking from sleep I get random cpu tdp regression, the clocks jump around 1ghz on all cores and dont go higher. No settings change from hhd help, only rebooting the device. The device is not on charge before going to sleep, during sleep duration and during waking up. Gpu tdp is as usual.

installing .NET 8 and the pre-release of vintage story
Hello hello! i am trying to install the latest pre-release of vintage story which is in early access, i am still very new to the linux stuff and i have been using the little bazaar app to download most apps (including vintage story) but the pre-release is not on there. Could someone offer some help on how i go about doing this? i tried to figure out which version of .net i was already running but the command im finding online is not working, think im probably doing it wrong. freezing issues

remove windows (2 drives dual boot)
so I started with dual boot windows and bazzite (2 drives). everything works though on bazzite and I want to get rid of windows. Can I just format the 2nd drive in Disks and edit the grub entry in bazzite, or is there a more fancy way to do that?

Depends. If you have a separate efi partition for windows and bazzite on their own drives, all you need to do is

This wasn't happening before, for some reason now after my PC goes to sleep it won't wake up; fans would spin, GPU RGB turns on but there is not image. So I have to completely power off the PC and try to boot again, I say try cuz sometimes it won't boot at all so I have to try it like 3 times and then I can finally see the the motherboard logo, the spinning loading thing and but then ... And this happens every time (even if I switch to desktop or from desktop to game mode) I'm requested to log in again. I have to scan the QR code and I'm back to gaming mode.
What is going on? Any ideas?...
Games running on 720p instead of native 1080p
On latest bazzite with proton ge 10-10 in lutris
I have a game (redout) that always starts in 720p. if i start the game in gamescope with 1080p command the game won't launch. Any tips on how to get to 1080p?
I have this with mutiple games... for example redout like i said, and redout 2. But however for redout 2 it doesnt crash with gamescope and the issue is fixed that way for that game...
So how can I fix it if a game can't do gamescope..?...

Hello guys, I'm very new to linux, but I'm willing to give it a shot. However I'm a bit lost when looking for a few programs I really enjoyed having on Win11 such as:
Temperature monitoring software, something small and compact like HWmonitor.
In-game temperature monitoring software, like RTSS. I have installed MangoHUD/Juice, but I can't quite get it to work ingame.
An alternative for Fancontrol, to adjust fanspeeds without having to go back to the BIOS everytime....
How to "Build your own" bazzite
Soooo i would like to dayli drive it, Only real problem i have is that printer i have have its scanner driver separate.... i find it only being accesible thru manufacturer website. If im right only way to make it persistant beetween updates is to make it as own image of bazzite. How would i do it? I never done such things beferore and i cant find any info on bazzite website other than its beeing a thing (or im just blind or stupid)

Remote Wake-On-Lan: Sleep, Reboot, and Shut Down not working.
Okay, so I have been able to get remote wake on lan to work with my Bazzite PC running the deck image to work. I have tailscale installed onto my pc, phone, and Apple TV. My Apple TV is acting as my always on device and my subnet router. I'm usins the Wolow - Wake On Lan ios app on my phone to send the wake on lan comman to by pc. With the Apple TV acting as my subnet router, then i'm able to enter my PC's MAC address and local IP adress into my wake on lan app and it successfully wakes up my pc...
Lutris not registering installed mod
Hi everyone, I'm using Lutris (on Bazzite 42 nvidia edition) to play the best game of all time: Need for Speed Underground 😆
Installation worked like a charm, the script is really well done and very easy to understand. The game runs just like it did back in the day. And here we're running into my problem: During installation, I got the option to install a WidescreenFix which makes the game run in 16:9 instead of 4:3 ratio. I have used this mod before on Windows, so I know it works and that's why I was so excited that it was natively included in the Lutris script. However, Lutris doesn't seem to register it somehow. It is there, installed and the values have been tweaked as they should be, but the game still runs in 4:3 and doesn't skip the intro, like the mod is supposed to. I read something about maybe giving Lutris certain permissions, but I don't know how to do that yet. So I'm kinda stuck here. It's not the end of the world, since the game runs, but I'd love to know how to fix this, since it's not the only game where I intend to use widescreen fixes.
Does anybody have an idea what I could try?...
Device Storage looks off in File Manager
Hello, I'm a new user of Bazzite, trying KDE. I followed the video tutorial from Mike's Tech Tips on Youtube to dual boot. I am concerned, as my device storage does not look right to me, and I want to check what's up. bazzite tdp legion go
somebody could help me to know why the tdp on my legion go not working? I've used decky tdp, hdd and steam tdp but always if I put 20w in game goes to 10w or less no matter what
Dualsense not working
A few weeks ago, my Dualsense edge controller stopped working. It won’t work over Bluetooth or wired. In gaming mode, it acts as if it paired successfully over Bluetooth, but it won’t appear in steam settings as a controller and button inputs do not work. In desktop mode, trying to pair the controller results in failing to pair successfully.
A regular Dualsense that was never connected to my PC has the exact same issues. Xbox Series controllers work fine when wired.
I tried both the latest stable and testing branches and Dualsense did not work with either....
Solution:
I tried rpm-ostree reset and switching to another branch and every other troubleshooting step I could find, but I ended up having to reinstall bazzite to fix this.

Black screen on first boot

Planning a bazzite build, I am a complete noob to everything including discord. Planning to use the MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi AM5 mATX with a 9600x and a rtx 9060 xt 16gb. Are the Bluetooth and wifi drivers available for this motherboard? And is the rest of the build suitable?
Inscryption FPS issue
Hello there!
I'm needing some assistance as I have had issues similar to this in the past, but I've not had it quite as bad as it has been with the lovely steam game Inscryption! Each time I've tried to open it up just on my laptop screen (Framework 16) and one one of my external monitors, but the FPS always drops dramatically each time I open the game. All my other games that are much more harsh on my laptop (Modded Minecraft, Slime Rancher, Subnautica, Monster Hunter World, Elden Ring, etc) can actually come up naturally and with fantastic FPS rates (60-120).
If anyone has any sort of ideas on what sort of issues Inscryption must have with Bazzite, please let me know!...
