MANTA M5P WIFI ADAPTOR NOT WORKING. cM4 NON WIFI

I bought a non wifi cm4 by mistake. thought i could use a usb wifi adaptor to make it work but its not connecting. I also enable usb hub by editing file according the m5p manual. I'm able to get through ethernet and it shows that it does not find any wifi interface. if i can make this work will be great

Missing skew profile

After upgrading to v2.1.0-RC3-13-g4582e650, specifying the skew profile in variable_skew_profile stopped working

use only small letters for the profile name

RatOs Configurator repository invalid

I am at a point where I need a little hint to solve my problem. I installed 2.1 rc2 and updated all sections in the update manager where an update was possible directly or with soft recovery. I did no hard recovery yet. The RatOS configurator repository is still invalid. The connection is good. During my first attempt I did a hard recovery what ended up with the 502 bad gateway error. What can I do to get this running? I didn't change the config yet. Only wifi is setup....

Camera stream lost after last Mainsail update

I’ve updated Mainsail today to v2.13.0 and now I can’t reach the cameras set as webrtc. I also have frequent Moonraker disconnection when I’m a page with camera stream. I’m connected with WiFi but the connection is stable....

Adaptive Bed Mesh

I just purchased a Vcore 3.1 on the cheap that was not assembled verdy well. I have been going through the build including the wiring to finally arrive at printing. The Pinda probe seemed inconsistent so I upgraded to a Euclid probe. Homing and z tilt go well but a problem with adaptive bed meshing. With the pinda probe adaptive bed mesh went ok but with the euclid probe once a print was started and z tilt was done, the toolhead would go to the center of the bed and do a probe that seemed to not recognize the probe then move to the purge blob spot but did not lower the bed and proceeded to knock the probe off. Not expected. I have now returned to normal bed mesh ( no adaptive) and that probes with the Euclid probe fine except I originally had an error "horizontal_move_can't be less than probe's z_offset". My online search found a fix by adding [bed_mesh]...

variable_hotend_heat_soak_time as slicer variable?

Would it be possible to have variable_hotend_heat_soak_time change depending (for instance) a variable in the slicer? As I often print quite some stuff, consecutively, it happens a lot that i have the hotend heater on (as a result of a filament change) or that I just finished one print and want to redo or start another and as such would like to have a lower variable_hotend_heat_soak_time....

Load Unload Filament klipperscreen

The Load and Unload icon does not work with hdmi 5, I added the Load T0 and T1 macros as well as the Unload T0 and T1 macros and it works very well with the macro menu in KlipperScreen, when I want to load the filament with the Load icon I have the message "select the head number, what should I do to make the icon work ?

Attempting to update RatOS, as I have done several times before over the past year or so. Pi > Network page says, "Failed to initialize. This panel needs NetworkManager installed into the system. And the appropriate permissions. Without them it will not function. Failed to detect NetworkManager service." Pi is connected to Windows 10 PC via Ethernet cable. PC has very solid Internet connection. Where to find, and how to install NetworkManager, please? Thank you!:ratrig:

Using Raspberry Pi GPIO header pins from RatOS/Klipper

I was just happily configuring an additional chamber temperature sensor (https://www.klipper3d.org/Config_Reference.html?h=temperature+sens#ds18b20-temperature-sensor). The DS18B20 has a one wire interface, which i'd like to connect to the Raspberry Pi that also runs my RatOS. After checking that i get reasonable readings from the sensor via cli&ssh i tried to implement the sensor in my printer.cfg. I struggled when i needed to name the "sensor_mcu" name (which in my case is the Raspberry Pi), because i could not find the name of the Raspberry Pi mcu in the RatOS docs. - Is RatOS implementing the host mcu (Raspberry Pi) as secondary mcu per default? - If yes: How can i refer to the RPi mcu in my klipper cfgs?...

RATOS bug?

H723 reported as f446 in Y endstop. RATOS RC3 reported as RC2. This affect the printer?

Solution:

No. First one is a cosmetic issue, the second one shows 2 different things, the OS image version that you installed and the version you updated to.

BalenaEtcher older versions give malware errors on mac and shutdown.

Since the new versions of balena etcher never work for flashing and I had to resort to older versions to flash ratos2.1 and all of a sudden when I go to redo my chonk the older versions are closing with a malware error and putting the app in the trash. Rasberry pi imager writes the image but I never see ratos coe up in my wifi. With balenaetcher is came right up afterwords but now I cant use it.

Solution:

I found somebody with a windows computer and downloaded an older version of etcher and it worked. After updating everything then running the config my X and Y motors are swapped. Same wire set up where it was running last time

Solution:

change it to vcore400 and it will work
