Protrusion on layer with solid infill
Trying to print two models and they both have a floor at around the 6mm height. When the solid infil is laid there is this bulge that appears on the outside even though permitters are printed first.
At first I thought it was a Z banding or something as it happens at the same height for both prints, but then I printed a simple cube and there was no issue at that height.
Problem persists even when printing outer perimeter first, it just makes a slightly bigger circle. ...

Temperature tower curl/lift
Don’t know what I’m doing wrong here, if it’s too much cooling and it’s curling, or if it’s not enough cooling since it seems soft…
I’m out of ideas.
The print gets knocked out the bed minutes later because of this.

Pressure Advance Tower Problem
The left one is with more cooling, but even tho it helped alot the sides, the front is really bad.
any suggestions?...

This helped me fixing my issue.
Bumped the max flow rate to 30 as I’m using 0.6 nozzle and bumped the temps....

Horrible bridge in 10mm hole top.
Hi all.
I have a small credit card sized magnetic rack ID support that I am printing. The print fits a 10x2mm magnet. I am trying to keep the part as thin and light as possible because I need to print several hundreds of them and want to save as much material as I can. In the images, you can see the print has a small 10mm hole for the magnet. The issue I am having is the bridge. It is crap and sagging and therefore, the magnet doesn't sit flush to the part as would be expected and stick out as much as 0.6mm from the surface. Seems to me that Orca is adding a wall in midair, and then trying to bridge that.
I have attached 2 screenshots. I can't seem to find the right setting in Orca to avoid this behavior. Any help is greatly appreciated....

Unknown surface quality issue similar to pillowing but not quite
Issue is not happening regularly, but I’ve been printing some composite molds recently that have had a surface finish that is inconsistent, kind of like pillowing and overheating but not quite. Pictures attached.
Material is OverturePETG at 255°C on 80°C bed at 200mm/s.
Any thoughts?...

Random tear-outs along walls
I'm unsure what causes the tear-outs shown here. Besides those, the walls are pretty good.
What could be causing it? Temperature too low? Print speed too high? Something else?

Consistent IDEX offset after VAOC calibration
I’m getting a consistent ~1mm on multicolor IDEX prints on my stock VC4 300. I’ve tried following the IDEX commissioning guide multiple times and usually don’t need to tweak anything when I pull up the VAOC tool. Appreciate any advice <3

Vc4 500 hybrid 0.6mm nozzle
It's not pretty so what would people say I need to work on as said printed on vc4 hybrid 500 with a 0.6 nozzle in pla temp flow and pa tuned supposedly

IDEX XY Offset drift (VC4)
My Vcore 4 prints well so far. But while printing a large multi-colour model, I noticed a problem. My XY offset drifts on higher models. While it is perfect on the lower part of the print, it drifts more and more until (in this case) it overextrudes areas and the toolhead loses steps when hitting it.
At first I thought it was some sort of thermal expansion etc, but this happened when printing PLA with all the panels off.
Any ideas? I'll do some more testing tomorrow....

Inconsistent squiggly perimeters
I have a VCore 3.1 500. For the life of me I have not been able to narrow down the cause of this squiggly line that starts each perimeter. Direction of travel is black arrow. Squiggle circled in red, normal end of perimeter is circled blue. Acceleration and print speed values have not made a difference

PETG troubles..
Hello.
I recently put on a fresh spool of PETG.. no matter what settings I play with, slowed everything down to a snails pace, I can't get a good print.. the first layer comes out perfect.. any subsequent layer prints like garbage.. i thought it might have been my orbiter v2 run_current setting being low as it appears to be an extrusion feed issue.. with assistance I was able to resolve this but still, no go.. any help would be greatly recommended. Photos show the first layer, then the other side showing the crap print that follows..
Nozzle temp is 240 - 245.....

Weird artifacts (Not a new build)
Been having these artifacts for my recent prints, which were not there before. Any idea what could have caused it?

Print to squished on 1 side & loose on the other
Recently I have noticed that the 1st layer on my print is really bad. You can see from the photo that it is squished too much on the left but the lines are not even touching on the right causing it to lift off the bed.
I am using RatOS with the default Start_Print sequence & a beacon surface scanner & the height map does not look too bad either.
I did all the calibration steps for the beacon too but with PLA. I thought that it compensated itself for the higher ABS temperature.
Any suggestions?...

Diameter of printed cylinder too small despite calibration
I'm a bit lost, maybe someone has an idea.
I calibrated my VC4 so that when printing a cube the end result is the size I intended it, e.g. CAD says 10mm -> real world is 10mm.
But for whatever reason this does not work on cylinders... I want to print a cylinder diameter 8 mm and height 11 mm. Real world: height 11 mm but diameter 7.5 mm

Beacon Issues first layer after calibration
Fresh install. Printer just does not want to lay down a decent first layer.
Steps ive done.
-Calibrated the z calibration BEACON_RATOS_CALIBRATE BED_TEMP runs through it perfectly fine no issues. - then when finetunning i print a sqaure that has the height of the layer height. - Things that go wrong. outer lines of the squar one or 2 sides never stick if im closer to the bed or away from the bed does not matter. ...

Very ugly overhangs
Hey All!
It feels like I've tried it all but I cannot seem to get my overhangs to print nicely :(. The print on the image is printed with FormFutura rPLA @210 degrees 0.2mm layer height and 0.6mm nozzle (goliath hotend). Printspeed is 300mm/s for outer walls 500mm/s for inner walls, slowing down 50% for 45 degree overhangs (as in picture). I use Orcaslicer and have extra perimeters and reversing on odd perimeters enabled. Fanspeed is 50% (cpap) increasing the fanspeed does not seem to affect performance.
Any tips and tricks?...
Solution:
I was already doing inner/outer perimiters. Thank you for a nudge in the right direction got them printing nicely now after maxing out my fanspeed and increasing the minimum layer time drasticly to 3.5sec. Seems i need some really good auxilery partcooling fans.

Idex torture test
Finally getting my idex online. Did a torture test print and would love some tips for tuning.
Is this just needing to use a prime tower?
Better filament flow tuning?...
Solution:
Prime tower definitely helps. Clearly need to tune belts and IS.

Extrusion(?) issue on round surfaces
See image - Why is this extrusion situation happening?
Left was printed with tree supports (prusaslicer).
Right was printed without supports.
I thought this was one of many issues due to bimetal effect. I upgraded the x-axis with titanium tube, and the problem persists despite the other known issues to have pretty much resolved.

Layer Shifts looking for help
Im getting layer shifts when printing on default settings within Prusaslicer and within the Ratos I have the speed factor down to 60 % and getting constant shifts . Using orca slicer has a better quality but shifts as well. Both softwares are default setting for VCore 4 400mm
Solution:
your Y IS graph is kinda poopoo, but your x is phenomenal???
Anyways, when you go into configurator on ratos, and go into Hardware Selection, make sure you are running in performance mode...
