The Long Dark (MacOS native) Offline Mode Launch fail error -998

This is an Epic Games account download. The game starts to launch in offline mode but then I see the message from a game screen "Failed to Load DLL (Error Code -998), Game will not launch". It will launch and play normally without offline mode enabled. Here are the logs:

Baldurs Gate 3 ( MacOS native ) doesnt work

This is a very popular and large game that is designed to run native on M series chips. Heroic won't launch the game, after clicking the button, it just thinks for about 10 sec then goes back to the default screen with no error message at all. Here is the log:

Rockstar Launcher doesn’t detect my RDR2 install

I downloaded RDR2 through heroic (EPIC Games) on my Steam Deck. Once I set up Rockstar launcher, it didn’t detect the install. Any help?

r.e.p.o launches then crashes

is there a simple way to save space by making use of symlinks in wine prefixes?

i noticed that for every game i have added to heroic, there are like 300 MB of stuff inside the prefixes by default... i know that it isn't really good to have one prefix for all games but what if some directories in the prefixes were symlinked together so they save some space?

Hi all, I'm going to need you to explain it like I'm 5, or a boomer. I'm trying to install a few games through Heroic on my steam deck. (OLED, 1tb) Currently, I am trying to install Infinity Nikki via my Epic games library. The launcher for Infinity Nikki has downloaded, only a few Mb, and when going to install the game from there, it asks for the path. Rocket League SMAA Game Won't Start

I'm running rocket league in Heroic with Whisky on my M1 pro macbook. I was messing around with some graphics settings and changed the anti-aliasing to SMAA, the game instantly crashed and I now can't get past the welcome/loading screen image. I can't change the setting back because of this. I tried to modify the .ini file but can't see this particular setting. Has anyone else experienced this and found a fix?...

Unable to launch Celeste from Heroic Games Launcher

Hi, I have recently migrated from Windows 10 to PopOS and Heroic launcher works fine for Epic games. But I have the itch.io version of Celeste (v1.4.0.0) which runs fine if I execute the "Celeste.bin.x86_64" directly. I tried adding the game to Heroic games launcher and set the platform to Linux. No installation was needed as I was able to play the game directly. But the game does not launch from Heroic launcher....
