Game Install Fails

Hi having issues with just one game , Kane and Lynch 2 when installing it literally says installation failed immediately. Firstly does heroic keep a log for the installs as I cant locate it so I can post it.

Undertale Yellow flickering

Hiya, I am trying to run Undertale Yellow (1.1.0) on Linux (Arch) using Heroic. The issue is that while the game runs, it seems that previous frames stay loaded which causes extreme flickers. By that I mean I can still see parts of the previous frame, which is overlaid by other previous frames, so it leads to flickering. Anyone know how to fix it? I am on Xorg, using GNOME with propriatery Nvidia drivers btw...

Game tries to reinstall after adding the game to steam through heroic launcher and clicking play .

I installed Dark souls remastered through the launcher and it seems to play when I click on the game through the heroic launcher but when I click on add to steam or I create a desktop shortcut, I instead it tries to install the game again. I'm using the latest version of heroic launcher....

Mafia III DE Crashes when loading game

So, this post is a follow up from my previous post. I'm not sure if my savegame was loaded or not as now my problem is getting the game to run. The log is attached. The game boots up and you can even get to main menu and start a game, but crashes as fast as the loading screen pops up....

gogdl not found when launching Warhammer 40k: Mechanicus

Hi folks! This game is linux native so it should be running fine on the Steam Deck without any wine prefix, but on the latest version of Heroic it never launches. Log file is attached because Discord says my message is too long. I figured out that the launch command that Heroic generates is incorrect, by copying it from the log and pasting in a shell. I just did this from home directory, but CWD shouldn't matter since the launch command is using an absolute path that doesn't exist. Let me know what you think! Thanks...

Rockstar launcher is broken again

The previous error 134 was no trouble anymore thanks to the fix.bat solution seen in this server. (thanks arieljuod). But today I had another Rockstar Launcher Update and it got broke again. The game wont launch. I tried some workarounds, like deleting the prefix, changing the prefix to the actual game folder, different wine versions, reboots, etc. What I get now is a error message telling that another instance of the Rockstar Launcher is already running and/or that the game should be reinstalled because the launcher was not found. ...

Hi team. I bought Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown in Epic Games Store. And I can't run it. I have problems with Ubisoft Connect. Sometimes it can't connect at all, but sometimes I can log into my account and observe games and news in Ubisoft. So the game is never started, only Ubisoft is running. What is the problem?

Galactic Civilizations IV Black Screen

Hello everyone, I'm trying to run Galactic Civilizations IV through the Heroic Games launcher but I'm getting a black screen when the game opens. The splash screen/launcher thing loads fine, then the game window opens in full screen. The mouse cursor changes to the GCIV one, and if I click the music will begin to play, but I will not get any visuals other than a black screen. I tried messing around with enabling/disabling Esync, Fsync, and some other options. I also tried various proton and wine versions. However, most recently, I completely uninstalled the game and deleted all files, then reinstalled using all of the default options. This is the configuration for which the log is provided. Usine latest Wine-GE and all default options. Running on Fedora 39...

THPS 1+2 - please run the game via epic launcher, internet connection required

Hello. Few months ago THPS 1+2 from Epic worked perfectly fine on Steam Deck. After few months I've tried yesterday to play but while running white window appears and shows error "please run the game via epic launcher, internet connection required" (I have HGL in Polish, that error is not 1:1 in English) and game crashes. Ofc, Wi-Fi is on with stable internet connection. I've tried almost everything but uninstalling, which I really want to avoid. Any ideas?
