Custom Fitted In Ear Monitors w/ Microphone?

I have some of the WEIRDEST questions probably, but you know how those K-pop and J-pop idols have the mics coming from their ears? are those actually plugged into their In ear monitors? 1. If they do, are they actually good? 2. I would assume that they would be great noise canceling on some level or they would hear nothing but the croud. I Do know that most of the time you have someone talking into your ear when your verse is coming and doing a count down so it's a bit easier, but that's more for the headphones than the IEM. I am more concerned about the microphone in this case than the IEM. For context:...

Image Stabilization For "Phone As Webcam" Solutions

This felt like it could potentially hit in a few different places, so I thought I'd make a forum post about it. I've been messing around a lot with the "phone as webcam" solutions as of late with two potential use cases for my streaming efforts around pinball. * A very affordable replacement for the common "Wireless HDMI + Camcorder" setup that most big rigs use that might actually end up being more portable. ...

Help me find the right mic solution (and maybe you have the same issues?)

Hello people! I haven't watched informative tech-content for a while, and when I looked on the best channel called "EposVox" (haha) I saw that there are so many technical advancements made the last 2 years. Especially when it comes to mics and DSP (in-mic as well as in audio interfaces). I just sold almost everything in my audio chain to make room for a specific setup, which I'm going to explain as I need help choosing the right parts for it. So, the things I need are: - Inbuilt DSP (may be in the mic mic itself, but may also be in an audio interface, as long as it sounds more than good), examples of must-have DSP effects are:...

AV1 Encoded YouTube Stream Randomly Dropping Bitrate & Requiring Restart

Hello, I am having issues trying to stream AV1 to YouTube with my dedicated streaming PC. I multistream to YouTube and Twitch. YouTube gets 11Mbps using AV1 encode. Twitch gets 6Mbps using HEVC encode and is run through the Multi RTMP plugin. I get a reliable 22-25Mbps upload from my ISP, so not maxing out bandwidth. Also, prior to trying to use AV1 on my new 4070Ti, the stream was fine using HEVC or H.264. To bring the YT stream back, I can usually restart it in OBS, but sometimes this crashes OBS. CPU: 13900K GPU: RTX 4070 Ti RAM: 48GB...

Encoder Settings For High Quality Recording Only

My System: i9-12900K 3.20 GHz; 64 GB DDR5; NVIDIA 3080Ti; W11 Pro; recording to SSD. Goal: I want to make sure I have the best OBS settings for recording (not streaming) high-action games such as Overwatch and Rust that have allot of screen movement. Here is a screenshot of my OBS Recording Settings. What changes should I make to accomplish my goal? My preference is for quality over file size (within reason).

2 PC Stream PC Line In Audio Buzz

I've been able to consolidate the problem to either the motherboard or potentially a grounding issue? The noise is present as long as anything is in the mic or line in jack even an unconnected ground loop isolator will turn the microphone driver on and the hissing is visible in obs. Premiere Pro Playback doesn't work, probably because of video source (?)

Hi! I'm having a lot of problems on a Premiere project atm. The issue is simple: Playback doesnt work. I open Premiere and I get the "Media Pending" yellow sign and after a minute or so it loads (not always) and sometimes playback works flawlessly for a minute, then stops working completely, no audio, no video, no movement, nothing. I think it MIGHT be related as to how I recorded the footage Im using since VLC sometimes struggles to play it back too. I attached my settings, at first glance I would say they are pretty okay....

OBS Tuna Plugin not showing correct text when running

So I am not sure if it's entirely caused by my music player, but I have tried a few that should work with Windows Media Control but nothing seems to display the correct information. I have tried using Dopamine and Strawberry Music Player, which are both Windows Media Control music players. Maybe tuna isn't playing well with these players, but I am not sure what other players work. Note, I am trying to use my own local files since alot of the music I listen to isn't on Spotify....

Windows 11 + 7Zip: Unspecified error message when attempting to drag out content from a zip folder

Stuttering and skipping

every game I play I have bad graphical stuttering. It's in loading and in game so I know it's not internet. It will cause the rest of my screens to stutter so I know it's not just the game, it's definitely my pc. I had my graphics drivers crash once and crash me out of Sea of Thieves. I also had my graphics just like break when I was trying to load a game I couldn't interact with anything and windows changed resolutions, then when I finally got the game application killed my mouse was tiny in the middle of my screen and it was stuck in some invisible border like it was stuck in a different resolution than my screen and monitor were on. Well I have now replaced my graphics card and the stuttering is still happening across at least 3 different games. It's even happening So what could that be if not my graphics card? Temperatures are fine. Everything was built a couple years ago when parts were new. I can watch videos, even a 4k video, and everything seems fine. It's only in games. But it's a stutter every 5-10 seconds. I have a Ryzen 9 5900x. AMD 6900xt though I just put in a 7800xt thinking it had to be a graphics card issue. Windows 11. Everything fully updated, drivers and software and all that. It actually started when I was using a 1080pm ultrawide monitor and has persisted through upgrading to 2 4k monitors. Thoughts?!?...

Stutter with Elgato 4k60 pro

Doesnt matter if I mirror, make another display, or even EDID clone the cable signal. The 4k60 pro mk2 gets frame jitter as if the frame timing is out of sync and its catching up every 15 or so seconds. Has anyone encoutered this or know of a fix?...

record everything in OBS except ONE source

I want to stream everything that is visible in OBS so just like normal but want to record everything except my webcam. whats the best way to do this? do I really have to use something like source record to capture everything seperatly and edit it back together? cause I really dont want to encode a 4 hour-ish video again...

30% performance loss while OBS is running (not even recording)

Hi! I have an issue with my OBS which is very resource consuming I know that I have complex overlays with filters and animated elements, however my gaming scene is very minimalistic The issue is that whenever OBS is running, I lose around 30% of FPS on games i'm playing A 120 FPS game would run at 90 FPS most of the time with unstable framerate where a 60 FPS game would run around 40 FPS I don't even need to have a stream or recording running to have that by the way...

OBS + Streamerbot: OBS keeps crashing after attempting to test a trigger I made.

So I was trying out Streamerbot for the first time and attempted to make a follower alert trigger, got it to connect to OBS and my twitch account no problem, made an action queue, added a trigger to getting the user's name, displaying the message and timing all the sources for the alert to go visible and then hidden (make tv static image visible for 1 second then hidden, text, textbox, follower animation I created, sound clip plays, delay for 10 seconds, tv stack visible again then hide everything). After all of that I pressed "test trigger" to try it out and itll do my tv static clip (the third line after getting username and message text) but then OBS would alway crash afterwards. Looking at the crash log it saids something to do with the ucobscontrolplugin.dll crashed and thats in the same thread involving the websocket for some reason. Another weird thing is even after I exit OBS, the process for that and streamerbot wont fully close until I go to the taskmanager and end the process for both. I did updated the graphics cards and the stream deck incase it could've been anything to do with outdated drivers or plugins, but that didnt change anything....
