Black sections of ice even after loading terrain
I've done a couple reinstalls of DH. I have no mods except the fabric api, DH, sodium, indium and iris. For some reason, I get these solid black areas even after going into and out of the render distance. I have no shaders or resource packs. This was just a straight test before going on to trying shaders out. Everything else works great. I've played around with a few settings, but nothing worked so I ended up resetting everything back to default high. The black spots disappear when I move into r...
Solution:
This is a known bug involving transparent blocks, like water. There is nothing you can do to fix it except turn off transparency

Crash error about ShadowCullingFrustum
The crash log says: The game crashed whilst initializing game
Error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/seibel/distanthorizons/api/interfaces/override/rendering/IDhApiShadowCullingFrustum
Any idea how to solve that? I run some mods for optimization and other big mods like Alex Cave's, Twilight Forest, etc. And yes, i did the Toml changes in the FAQ.
So if anyone have any idea on wich mod is causing this so i can remove it, i would be really happy...
Chunks not being fully loaded
I have been messing with the chunks to see why they aren't loading, it almost seemed as if distant horizons wasn't even working. But i set my render distance to 2 and there still were chunk there being rendered by DH, but it's set for 128, not whatever small number I was currently seeing, so i set my MC render distance to 5 then took this video. I do have a few mods enable, I am in a single player world, but i never got any error messages. The video demonstrates how some chunks which i have explored are loaded, but unexplored ones haven't. Here's the Latest log and a list of mods.

Initial spawn chunks are still visible from far away, but surrounded by air until my location
When I go far away the initial spawn chunks are still seen but like if they were the end island, and from my location I can see like air or not chunks surrounding the spawn area chunks, also I don't have 2048 render distance as I put in the settings, less than that.
DH is slow on server

dh chunks arent loading. ive downloaded and moved all needed mods from the iris installer on their website.
the mod is enabled and i dont have any known incompatible mods installed. im using the modrinth launcher.
im not getting any errors or anything, the chunks are simply not loading. what do i do???
ive been trying to fix this by reinstalling for about 2 hours. nothings working.
i have 100+ mods installed, ill send screenshots of all said mods. none are in the known incompatibilities list....

Multiplayer Server Not Rendering Pre-generated Chunks
as seen in the screenshot, my server does not render the pregenerated chunks i have not explored. i pregenerated with chunky. one is the server and the other is the mp world i copied over to singleplayer to generate the chunks. i also tried copying the distant horizons server data after to see if it would render mp DH chunks and it broke chunks.

Chest LOD Rendering
When looking at LOD chunks that contain chests (as well as smoke and possibly other features), the chests will be drawn over other blocks resulting in them being visible through walls. Looking up this issue in this Discord led to a discussion that indicated that a feature named Seamless Overdraw would be able to solve this, however from some more searching it seems that this feature was discontinued before being made public.
Are there any other existing solutions to this issue?...

Rendering LODs for existing chunks
Hello, is there some trick (or mod) to get DH to generate LODs for all chunks of a map? Context is that I've imported a map from a server into singleplayer and would like to generate LODs there to then transfer them to the server.
I've looked at the core code and think that just loading all chunks one by one from a mod would probably do the trick but wanted to ask first whether someone's already done it somehow....

Hi, is there any button/command/way to force LODs to update? I've been building a lot in my world, but they take forever to upload so my world looks a bit overlapped with old and new buildings.
I set the CPU load to the maximum but still nothing happens...

I switch the version of iris and then it interferes with other mods, this is the cloest ive gotten to it to work
