Then replace indium with a version that works with sodium 0.5.3

im opening my game and it instantly crashes

Solution:
You are missing Indium, which is needed for Distant Horizons to work with Iris.

issues with render distance

It feels like Distant Horizons does nothing, and I get this thick fog at the edge of my render distance. I'm not sure what to do about it
Solution:
Needed newest version of iris

Generating LODs on Pre-made Maps goes to default terrain.

Good Evening, I have been hesitant to post because this seems like an FAQ kinda question, but I cant find anything about this on here. It might be that im not searching for the correct keywords or something, so if this has already been answered, my apologies in advance! Basically, I'm trying to generate chunks of my massive 2,000 square km 1:1 scale map of London. Its a massive map, so I realistically cannot fly around the whole thing and manually load the chunks. However, if i stand in one particular spot and let DH do its thing, or try pre-loading with something like chunky, I dont get the london map data instead a "default" world gets generated, with oceans and hills. Its only when i manually fly over to a particular location within my default render distance does things update, although even then for a while it becomes a mess as when i fly away some chunks revert to default while some stay city. Im basically wondering is this a bug? a core limitation? and is there a workable solution except manually flying around and loading it all in? If that is the only option, can anyone suggest any way to automate this process?...

Weird red/black outlines around blocks

I have no idea why this is happening, all drivers are updated

(1.19.2) Is there a way for Distant Horizons to work with Oculus + Complementary Reimagined shaders?

Just switched from Optifine to Embeddium + Oculus due to massive performance issues with frame drops and it doing that came at the cost of DH no longer rendering LODs while using shaders. I'm using Complementary Reimagined, and from what i know this shader is compatible with it. I do know there is a 1.19.2 Oculus Fork branch by Teqed's fork on the github page, however given i've never used Github previously, i have no idea what to do with it or even install it for that matter so i might as well additionally ask what exactly do i need to download from that Fork, or if theres a build already somewhere....

LODs not being generated even though world is generated

Feel like I'm doing something obviously wrong but I can't figure it out. I fly around a new world a lot to make sure it's generated, and then delete the DistantHorizons.sqlite file to remove the generated LODs, when I load back in no LODs are generated except for slightly beyond where the normal game chunk distance is set to (see pic attached with debug view set to white to set them apart). If I fly somewhere and come back the LODs are generated and stay there, but no matter what I do I can't get them to generate fresh without moving to that area. I'm testing map generation tooling so I'd like to have a command to generate the LODs without having to manually move around the map. I saw lodstored command mentioned in other threads but it doesn't do anything. Task manager shows CPU / GPU usage isn't high, minecraft is using well below its limit of memory, I've tried changing every setting as well as resetting settings. Turning on world generation doesn't change anything. Using 1.20.2, used the official download, tried the nightly build as well but that didn't change anything. I turned on all logging and had a browse through the generated log files but can't find anything suspicious- LOD generation isn't failing, it just isn't running for any area I haven't been to. ...
Solution:
I just tried with a completely pristine world file from scratch and it seems to work with distant generation enabled, so I guess there was something weird somewhere in the meta data of the two worlds I was testing on

Best configs for my setup?

Hi! I'm running a Ryzen 9 5900x, RTX 3070, 64gb RAM. I would like to run DH in 512 chunks but I've been having a few stutters. Any suggestions on how to make it go smooth? I downloaded a chunk pre generator, but I've read that it could make the world file go crazy heavy if i try to generate many chunks at once, so I haven't really used it yet... I was wondering about how many threads I could set on DH to optimize generation, or RAM settings to make it run better. Thanks!!...

LOD's keep showing black holes

My world keeps showing this black holes in my mountain upon joining, and the issue spreads out as I keep playing I have already tried a lot of troubleshooting - Replaced iris and DH shader test versions (tried many different versions)...

Chunks aren't generating

Hi ! I wanted to know. I. DH I have set it to generate chunks (distant generation to ON) but in the F3 menu the active level world gen is on Disabled and no chunks are generating even though all the chunks In the LOD render distance are not all rendered (the most part is but there is still a big gab on the edges) Do you know why ? I just want to know how the world gen is working and in what condition it is activating

Rethinking Voxels

You already know what this is about, I just wanna know what I can do so there’s not a sharp cutoff.

DH + Shaders for Forge

Is there any way to play Distant Horizons with shaders on Forge/Neoforge and if not, is it planned?

weird LOD chunk generation

this is in, 1.20.1 only fabric api and distant horizons, and singleplayer basically, instead of like normal rendering where it goes like cloest chunks get rendered, the lod chunks for some reason will do this where its like sporadic/random, which is strange....

Distant Horizons won't let me join my own server

For some reason trying to install the mod on my own client makes the server show this. If I remove the mod it lets me join the server. I don't know what I did wrong. I know that the mod can't be put in the server because of the factor it will crash it. Tried fiinding answers online but nothing came up. So now I'm here. If anyone can help me that would be greatly apricated.

It crashes on start up I used it with the BetterMC mod pack from forge and added ReTerraForged 5.0.0 1.20.1 I can't understand the log file can provide if needed
