At what quality does dh pregen save LODs?

This is a question, not an issue. I want to pregen a large area on a server and I was wondering if I should set the quality to max before. Most clients will probably set their quality to medium or high, but even so, the default in the server config is medium. So I want to know if when I have the quality set to medium in the server config, will the LODs be saved to medium or max quality? And what would you recommend?...
Solution:
All LODs are generated at maximum quality, and lower qualities are then derived from it. The quality preset dictates what quality the LODs will be rendered.

Crash when I exit the game?

Everyone's saying that it's DH's fault, but I can never really understand what's in a crash report or log file so I don't know what other mod is causing the crashes. I also included the mod list with Mods Command, I didn't know how else to quickly list my mods...

Quality good on most things but bad on others

why do all the the buildings have such good quality but this one is so bad? also why are some parts rendered good but most arent? Please help

Does dhs support loading/unloading with plugman? I want to ask before running it on an active server.

Pregenerating the end

I’ve successfully used /dh pregen to pregenerate chunks for both the overworld and the nether. However, I am not sure how to specify “the end” when using the command, nor do I know what coordinate the player spawns in when the enter the end for the first time. Could somebody drop an example command for me to use? Thanks!

This does not happen on fabric. Why is this a loader-specific thing, of all? Info: - Singleplayer/Multiplayer, doesn't matter. - Logs are not neccesarry since they do not provide any useful (or any) info....

Solution:
Using Chunky to pregenerate for DH is not recommended for several reasons. The first one is the swiss cheese that might show up when using chunky while DH is installed. The second reason is that it's pointless, as DH has a build in pregenerator that is better integrated than chunky: - It saves space by only storing LODs, not normal chunks - It is faster to use DH's pregenerator to generate the LODs than first using chunky to generate the normal chunks, and then using DH to convert the normal chunks to LODs - It is part of DH, and therefore always/only called when DH needs it - Chunky calculates it's radius in blocks, confusing the user if they are not aware of this ...

Hi, my game crashes on start-up with this being the cause. Ive searched for a similar error on the discord, and found one by DrMkdaddy but his issue seemed to be unrelated. I've disabled the autoupdater in the config, which I created by copying it from another save (the config didnt exist yet in the config folder) ...

Weird Ocean Lines

I'm using latest version of Distant Horizons and Bobby together to have a more seemless transition between my own render distance and LODs. The server I'm on has a max player render distance of 6, so I use bobby to increase that on my end, so lods arent rendering very close to me. However, I get these weird lines in the ocean, similar to how DH used to perform a few versions back. Any way to make it more seemless?

Forests look weird at noon versus any other time.

I think it just has to do with the fact that there is literally 0 texture when the lighting is coming directly overhead. But is there any way to fix this??? thanks. I attached photos to show yall what I mean.

Integrated server occasionally freezes when exploring

ok for some reason after 30-ish seconds after loading a world, minecraft just goes completely black

I tried to open it again, but I got a popup saying that Distant Horizons needed to be updated, and now when I load a world it just instantly crashes

Noise texture in photon shader

There is an option called “Noise on DH terrain” in the Photon shader, but it does not seem to work even when enabled. This is puzzling since the shader is said to be compatible with DH.
If anyone knows how to enable noise textures in Photon, I would appreciate any guidance.

Wierd Rendering??

As you can see from far away, there's a glowing line from down to top which doesn't exist. Then also there's two floors with only sea lanterns which only a few render. Please help, is there anything I can do and these are my graphic settings. Also I use shaders, ( it doesnt matter wich shader it happens with all )
