LOD for foliage not being generated correctly
DH seems to be unable to generate the LOD's corresponding to the foliage, it can definitely detect when it exists but the color is a weird pink instead of green, textures: RT by hodi

The grass texture is gray and is colored later by MC, MC knows to color the texture because in the model file a
"tintindex"
entry is present next to the texture access, but the grass in this RP has texture accesses without the tintindex, it does not break vanilla rendering as the faces with tge gray textures are 1D lines (a.k.a. insisible), but DH has no way of knowing that as it only looks at textures
If that theory is correct the RP author has to either: add tintindex to every texture access or remove redundant invisible texture accesses...
how to fabric 2.3.0b 1.21.1 ?
Hi guys i wanted to download the jar for fabric 1.21.1 of DH 2.3.0b from :

DH settings/config for multiple dimensions
I have several dimensions in my mod pack and when traveling to some of them that are more similar to the over world (example: lost cities mod’s dimension or ocean world dimension) they overwrite the location I’m in for those dimensions, to explain it in detail:
I travel to the dimension, look around, it loads in.
I travel back to the over world. I look around, and DH is showing me huge ocean areas *if i travel to the ocean world dimension) like its saving the ocean world dimension like its the same as the over world.

My dh configs reset itself
When I change some gpu settings or fog settings it resets itself back to its default and on my system it’s a custom one for gpu and on cpu it’s 2-3
Server runs farsight, can I run Distant Horizons instead?
mc version 1.16.5 on forge
Solution:
DH will behave almost the same as farsight if used only client side, but it will also keep chunks/LoDs saved for the next sessions
Questions about DH
I prob didn't need to post in here just to ask this, but I haven't played MC in ages and this mod is awesome but trying to figure out a few things about it that I didn't find in faqs...
With the DH Gen / Import at the bottom - is that just going to be done one time and it's saved to my world file? & as I explore further more LODs will be added but essentially if I'm just hanging in my main base where I let the import finish in that area will it always be instantly loaded and done already next time I load into my world?
& then my other question was about how big the LOD database can get compared to a normal world file? Or how ever they are saved - is it going to be a significant amount more room? & I'm assuming there's an error that will pop up if you run out of space? (My HD is almost full lol I didn't realize I would need room when I installed this 😅) ...
Solution:
1. The message includes both the loading of LODs and generation of them. Generation is really slow and needs to happen once per chunk. Loading is much faster and happens every time you load a world or just move.
single player LODs to server
Hypothetically, if I had a single player save of a multiplayer world, is it possible to load up all the LODs in single player, and then overwrite some file(s) for the server LOD in my client to essentially "pregenerate" them?
I'm currently on the version: fabric-2.3.0-b-dev-1.21.4...

Shaders(?) applying differently to LODs
I have this wierd pop in effect of LODs because they seem to be getting lighted differently by the shader. Is there a way to fix/tone this down? Video example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fv51fUZJc7U (1.20.1 on a server with all relevant mods on latest versions and DH on latest nightly)

LOD glass rendering
Is there a way to make stained glass render translucently instead of only being opaque or completely transparent with LODs? Please suggest other mods, resource packs, or shaders if you know of any because I can't seem to find this in DH settings

LOD Force Update?
Hello this may seem odd but
I noticed that the LODs do not update when blocks are broken or placed in that region. (even if region was a /forceload zone)
if possible if there a way to force update LODs to display these changes?...
Ignored Block Tint Applying while disabled?
Using Fabulously Optimised in Singleplayer, I've had some issues with snow turning blocks white, I read that it was because of this option but turning it to false doesn't seem to change anything
Solution:
You can either:
- increase vertical quality - it might help DH to separate the snow block from the rest of the structure
- add every type of snow to ignored block (including fuill blocks) - this will remove any snow from all your LODs...
