Instantly crashes on start up.

Used it with no problems for a couple of days then from no where started instantly crashing on start up. Have tried everything in the FAQ if I haven't missed anything. Tried reinstalling first time it happened and it worked for a small while but then same thing kept happening. Now reinstalling seems to make no difference. This is very odd... Thanks for any help I can get! 👍

LODs arent Rendering and Distant Generation isnt working

So basically, I noticed no matter what settings I enabled for distant horizons, It wouldnt begin the actual LOD generation at all. I tried reinstalling DH, and deleting the file mentioned in faq, and its not working.

DH crashes Lunar Client (SOVLED)

I'm not sure what's going on, so I'll post the mod list and the log. Please ask for more information if needed....

Distant horizon eats up all my ram I set, is this normal?

I am using FO modpack with DH installed along with chunky and Noisum. but I noticed that no amount of ram I add is ever good enough. 8gb wasn't good enough so I gave it 10gb, and then that wasn't good enough so I gave it 16gb. still not good enough. it is always nearly maxed out of my ram I set. my system has 64gb total. is this normal behavior for DH? I'm also on Linux but my old windows 11 had the same issue. eventually I'll get an error saying "Minecraft has run out of memory" single player default settings ...

Mod says I need Indium but everywhere else says indium no longer necessary.

I am playing on lunar client version 1.21.5 with fabric and sodium 0.6.13. When I try to open the game with DH it says I need to install Indium but everywhere else on the internet it says Indium was rolled into Sodium. What am I doing wrong?

I looked through faq and saw one possibly similar issue but I do not use bliss or whatever it said. But anyways, when loading up with dh and shaders my game does this and I am not sure why. I use complementary unbound

How to get the Distant Horizon LODs to show up when processing in Replay Mod?

I have it set to start at 55 seconds in to let it load in all the LODs at first, when I play it in the setup, it looks fine, but it's not rendering the LODs in the final video. Even when it's on frame 4000/5000, no chunks are showing in the preview as it's flying across. Also I'm wondering if they're suppose to update the detail LODs as you fly accross the area?...

rendering does not work on LAN world

as title says. distant horizons renders fine on a real server but on a lan world it doesn't render chunks and is spamming opengl errors in the log (the log file is already 47MB). Screenshot is in the lan world. modlist: 3d-Skin-Layers AppleSkin...

DH Mod Server-side commands with the mod not always avalaible

For some reason, the /dh does not always work i ran it once to pregen the world and change soome config but now that i want to pregen more, the /dh is completly gone, not in console, not for OP player

I recently started learning creative building with Axiom on 1.21.1 with a bunch of mods, Distant Horizons included. when making my tree I kept noticing these long lines connecting to the ground from the leaves (diamond for masking it). the only mod I can think of doing this is DH, anyone know what is going on?...

Where DH File Go For Replay Mod?

I'm seeing like 3-4 different answers when searching around... is the folder I need for Replay mod suppose to be called "data" "replay" or "replay_data" for DH support? (then an overworld folder in that?) Also do these folders go in .minecraft or in replay_recordings?...

Ohhh, I think I see, it creates a specific folder for the replay in the Distant_Horizons_server_data/REPLAY folder that then I put the DH file in

Macbook Air M2

Macbooks do have a strong cpu but idk how to get the effect with the distant chunks, its always a void at the end of loaded chunks

Rendering entities that load chunks

Using witchcraft (kiltmc) i managed to get cracker's wither storm mod working on fabric. However, when using distant horizons, the wither storm fades away into the fog, and doesnt render it even though it loads chunks. Is there any way to fix this?
