quick question about mod function/glitches

A server I play on has the mod banned because you're able to x-ray with it apparently

changed gpu and DH isnt working

i changed my gpu from nvidea 1660 to amd radeon 77000 xt and now dh is not loading at all. the mod menu is there and i can see its settings, but nothing is making it load
Solution:
I made some digging and found out Iris had similar issues with Radeon 7000 series GPUs and has since rectify it. Oculus may have to update its code base to get it working again.

Where are the LODs stored for a server? I was having issues with LODs not loading and I wanted to clear them/regenerate them from the server, (would I need to clear them from the clients as well?)

Are there any light shaders that work with DH?

How to disable multilayer chunk generation?

I have a server where the world is small, the worldborder is at around 4k blocks. The problem is I uncommented and set the setting "generate_new_chunks" to false but it is still generating chunks outside what was already pre-generated before installing it. Version 1.21.4, paper....

Installing and then Uninstalling this mod is breaking when playing with the Essential mod

Hello! I installed the DH mod and then hosted a world with the Essntial mod. I found it to be a bit too taxing on my computer, so I uninstalled it. However, ever since then, I have had a number of issues with loading chunks, in particular when I an far away from the other person in my hosted world. This problem only occurs in this world, and only when the other player is connected - when I play in single player, there are no issues, and other worlds do not have the same issue, hosted or otherwise....

weird walls in lod

currently generating lods for wynncraft and one of the cliffs have this weird wall glitch underneath it, wasnt there before but just appeared out of no where. not sure if there a way to reset the region without completely having to re-gen lod shaders: Complementary modlist:...
Solution:
Try increasing the quality preset. If that doesn't work, try lowering the cave culling height

Slow LOD load from server to client

Hi, I was able to get DH loaded on client side and server side. I used the pregen command to generate 150 chunk radius. It looked grate, but when I relog to get back into the server, it takes 5-10 minutes for my LOD distance to load all that again. I thought once they were loaded, it would be pretty instant when logging back into a world. Is this assumption wrong? I’m on a pretty old CPU for client side… sitting around 90% even though (I think) that the server already did all the generation. Is it just a bottleneck accessing the data?...

Chunks in the distance break and I can see through blocks

As soon as I move in my Singleplayer World, the chunks start to bug and I can see through certain parts of the world, restarting helps temporarily until it breaks again. Also my game is pretty slow before and after launching, even my MultiMC is unresponsive and needs restarting to work like normal again. Always sync all LODs while disabling distant generation on a server.

Hi, can someone help me with the set of commands I have to run on my server to get this to work the way I want? I have preloaded 256 chunks, I want clients to connect and it to sync all LODs to their client. What I don't want is them to go somewhere the server hasn't preloaded, and the CPU usage to spike because it's trying to generate distant chunks that haven't been generated yet. For example, I haven't done anything with the nether yet. As soon as I start running in one direction, the spikes because it's generating LODs 256 blocks away, BUT I still want it to generate pre-existing LODs. I changed generation mode to PRE_EXISTING_ONLY without realizing that it only generates chunks the server has loaded. I also tried turning realtimeupdates off and reducing the realtimeupdateDistance but it doesn't seem to sync far away chunks....
Solution:
I understand the first part, and disabling distant generation would be the solution. But I don't understand the second part.
