I plan to use the VKB curved 20 cm extension with mine, although IIRC I measured the total distance from the actual gimbal to the grip and a 10 cm extension might be closer to what I have now (VKB Gunfighter base with the 20 cm extension).

I know the f16 stick for right hand use has a forward angle, not sure about how it will feel center stick

not that I've noticed, I already have the gooseneck. I plan on keeping the viper grip mounted sidestick. I was debating on whether or not to just get the winwing fssb specifically for that, and have the Rhino center stick for everything else.

I have that extension on my mongoose base. I've used it for a couple years now with a TM warthog grip. It is canted, but I've never had any problems with it. It puts the center of the grip back over the center of pitch rotation

It would need to angle rearward. Looks like the virpil one angles forward. I think I'm going to print a custom short one that angles rearward. See how that goes.

You can also "anneal" it in an oven. Makes the layer to layer strength higher at the expense of some shrinkage

I was thinking what's the best approach to fill the "gaps", either:

Move all S\Ns to fill the gaps, like I did now.
Or move someone from the end of the queue - could be thought like lottery mode
option 2 would not be fair to those waiting, though.

Is anyone in here using the "VPC SharKa-50 Control Panel" from Virpil as a jetfighter throttle?
I wonder how well it works for this purpose..
I'm trying to make room for a helicopter collective, and that's a difficult thing to do with a HOTAS throttle in the way.
And the "VPC SharKa-50 Control Panel" follows the collective up and down, pretty neat.

Ah, yes that was the one I was thinking about when asking the initial question.. I am thinking of using the control VPC panel #3 as a throttle for fighter jets when I'm not flying helicopters, and was wondering how well it works for the jets.. Also, come to mind is that perhaps the VPC panel #3 might be too low when collective is in a resting position
