Yeah, it seems like that might be the best case, at least for me. Everything was working on the WW base before I transplanted it to the Rhino. Buttons works, but not the axis. Then, I went back to WW's base and recalibrated it and all the axis are working now. It could also be that I was working from a motor/pcb kit and had do the wire harness myself, and somehow that tripped the grip's memory during the whole process, so the calibration value had to be redone. In any case, I think it would be prudent to get the base.
