Interestingly, it worked just fine for me as I DM'd you. I'd try poking with your browser config, extensions, network, etc. to see if something is interfering. I do not know why

You could run middleware on every endpoint including over static assets, and fetch them via

env.ASSETS.fetch

or similar, but then of course you’ll be paying for functions invocations for assets, 404s, etc.

It takes highest zone plan in your account (i.e If you have 3 free sites, 1 pro, 1 biz, your "Pages plan" is biz)

no clue sorry, if it helps at all direct uploads are currently unlimited and don't count towards that (either via wrangler, or the pages action), it's just when you use pages ci/cd
