NI was being more of a smart ass than anything The huey might be challenging since it doesn't have separate 'trim modes' for the cyclic and pedals (only 'enable rudder trimmer'), and with the trimmer mode set to work with FFB cyclic ('default') the pedals behave poorly.. when you release force trim, you get the 'double input' if you don't bring your pedals back to center.
That being said.. TelemFFB already disables spring force on the pedals when you enter a helicopter, so you don't even really need trim.. pedals will stay where you put them.

ATheoretically I could already disconnect the spring on the MFGs pretty easily when I fly helicopters, but I just can't be arsed to do it
Ahaving ffb pedals that automatically do that for me and provide completely sticktion free damping and resistance would be pretty awesome
NIts easy enough on the VIrpils as well.. but I'm too old and lazy to be crawling under my desk to remove springs whenever I want to switch types.. plus the dampening with the motors is %100 better than any motorcycle steering dampener

Athey aren't supported atm. I did start a thread about it a while back, and walmis mentioned a lot of it is dependent on him reverse engineering an existing base

HDCS modules don't really support FFB rudders beyond telemetry, correct? Doubly so if you have a FFB stick?
MDepends on the module. Some have native DirectInput suport for FFB, others need to be extrapolated via telemetry

NIt doesn’t support them at all. It sends FFB data for the only two axes it knows to every FFB device that is connected. Which is actually worse than not supporting pedals at all.

SI've hade it for a week all is fine except today all the bindings went away and I couldn't use the Backup bindings. Think it's a DCS problem, but is there a way to prevent this to happen? 
SHm never had the issue try unplug und reconnect - hope that fixes your issue
JAll the bindings for all the aircraft are not set? Are your other control bindings still present ? There's usually backups of your bindings in the DCS saved games folder.

- Disable sticky since that will preclude any external app from modifying the behavior of that effect. You can leave hardware trim enabled, but you will want to un-check override trim for the HPG
- TelemFFB has a "hardware force trim" (but not hat trimming) implementation that works with all helicopters
- TelemFFB needs to be the source of the axis position data for the cyclic since we are playing tricks on MSFS to make all these trim and AP implementations work (both here with the HPGs and with fixed-wing).
- For the HPG 145/160 beep trims, you can either bind the in-game "ROTOR...TRIM_DEC/INC" bindings or you can send the applicable H:Event 'Cyclic Beep Trim <Direction>' events from AAO
- Most helicopters don't have electric hat-type trimmers, so the generic 'trim following' implementation in TelemFFB has not been extended to work with generic helicopters. If you want to use the VPConf 'override trim' with other helicopters, you can make use of the dynamic vpconf profile switching feature in TelemFFB to load.
- The other as yet undocumented advice I would give is to be certain that your stick is set up so that with hands off, in any force-trimmed position, that the stick remains centered as that will be critical for the H145/H160 to operate correctly. (adaptive recentering will help here)

In that context, my rhino came with a power brick with a straight cord that sticks out a whole 5cm from the back. It's highly impractical. For me not to bend it, I have to design a mount that gives it that room as a minimum, at which point I might as well flip the damned thing, because the stick will be the same distance away from me.
I have seen a screenshot of a rhino with an angled power connector. Is this a known mod? I would like to get my hands on one.
Alternatively, is it possible to mount the rhino "sideways" and swap x and y axis in the software? (I haven't really gotten to the software part yet...)

JQuick question, since I'm preparing to get a kit later on for my own build: The faq says the control board can supply up to 30 amps to the motors, is this enough for the higher torque options (86BLF3/4) to reach their full potential?
