FThe .bin files for teh wifi chip remind me of dynamic libraries in a way, shouldn't they just be plugins?
Kthe hardware is new, without those patches it doesn't even know to load the correct firmware files

PI've been using kde. Are gnome extensions prone to breaking on gnome updates? I had one machine on gnome and I think it wasn't just an automatic thing for gnome extensions to update. And does dolphin work well in gnome?
