This is a demonstration of the Git version of Compiz Fusion (formerly known as compcomm), which is the remerge of beryl and compiz, and some of its interesting features.
Someone asked me about my system specs: My computer is running an AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3700+ (although I'm using 32-bit ubuntu since it's easier), motherboard is an ASUS A...
does bazzite deck version support enabling HDR? I have HDR via gamescope running on my current arch install, so I am wondering if the same is possible on bazzite
welp, I can't seem to get the VM to passthrough the iGPU of the deck. I can get it to disconnect and the VM starts and according to the logs it seems to be fine with it, but I don't get any video output to the deck.
Heck, I can shutdown the VM and I get the display back. Nothing automatically starts back up because I sure don't know how all the pieces here work, but if I tell the deck to reboot remotely I get the whole animation for rebooting.
Perhaps if someone is smarter than me or more stubborn it might work out. But it is late and I am tired lol.
havent really checked at the deck itself but i dont think passing through the apu will work well. not sure how the iommu layout even is on the deck. but hey at least the system didnt freeze up on you, thats something.
from my experience some amdgpus require you to passthrough a dumped version of the vbios rom too, which i dont think the apu has? can easily find the path for the ROM to dump though using my ls-iommu tool by doing ls-iommu -g --romls-iommu -g --rom

Hi Varis, I need to install Coolercontrol to manage my Kraken X63 and I am investigating what would be the best approach. Flatpak has been abandoned but you say you layered it with rpm-ostree with us being immutable did you manage to load the systemd unit and have it always load on boot? also does it cause any problems when updating? The other option is 2 appimages one for systemd and the other for the app but I'm not sure if the systemd one can be made persistent to always load on boot. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated
