JI used to use noisetorch and it was fine but at some point krisp got enabled in discord and I use that
Ai using krisp discord doesnt sound good in linux but it sounds amazing in windows so how can make that possible.

Hi found out randomly that krisp doesnt like it if you do screensharing and route the application audio through the mic

TThey all use Xiph Rnnoise as backend for noise suppression, it's the best open source one. From the 3 solutions I mentioned the easiest to set-up is NoiseTorch. But as Jorge pointed out you should also make sure your mic is configured correctly, you try to record your voice with Audacity while checking sound levels.

TI never used any of those because I only use my computer mic in Discord and Discord comes with Krisp noise suppression integrated. I just wanted to show you have options you can try. NoiseTorch is the simplest to set-up. EasyEffects comes with a lot more effects to play with. "noise suppression for voice" is an always on solution that needs to be configured at the CLI.

I've managed to change it with opening alsamixer, picking a different sound cart and then maxing microphone volume. By default it was so quiet, you could barely hear it when talking to someone ...
