PIf you look at the deployment in the dashboard there's a functions tab that should provide some more info on what wrangler inferred as far as routing goes
PYep. It does not seem like a wise approach as, personally, I have code I do not want to be an endpoint

PI was originally worried about that same thing but there's some magic in the functions router generation that, in theory, won't make those non endpoint files into exposed routes

Mit seems to default to --remote, as I see using "wrangler kv:key get --binding=DEVICE_STATUS" it fetches from remote.... not sure what ninding to supply or how to invoke local KV....
Mit has a --preview flag....

KThat's just how browsers render it, rather than the actual HTTP response including HTML.
Pthe browser adds HTML to render it. try to do a fetch from the browser console, or look in the network tab
MAh, OK. I won't bother right now to be honest, as I will go with the framework and functions for API methods approach, but good to know - in case I need to do a html-returning fucntion in the future.

MI checked in Network tab, you are right, it's the browser adding that HTML around the response.
Not sure what it needs to detect in the response to not add it (doctype? valid html didn't seem to do it...)...but will not pursue this path right now.
