RWill NVK support DLSS etc.? Are there any plans for it to support or it would be too unfeasible to get working?

Hi prefer whatever works for the tasks i try to accomplish, back in 2009 nvidia was the better option in linux, now it is amd and intel while nvidia is currently the worst (unless you do cuda stuff specifically)
KI doubt it very much, likely it'll primarily support FSR and XeSS
Kand anything else that can be supported as open source, like LatencyFlex over Nvidia Reflex

Kgamescope has no dlss support, and it only offers FSR 1.0

RI see, thank you. I'd be willing to forego DLSS (for FSR/XeSS) if AMD GPU's also weren't inferior (in a major way) in raytracing perf compared to Nvidia cards.

©That's just temporarily, AMD has always been superior in CPU's so i dont doubt they will comeup with something better as nVidea soon or in near future....

RI disagree with this take, raytracing can be way more transformative to game visuals than any raster perf increase at this point of 'diminishing returns'.

PThe only good thing about Nvidia is it led me to discover ublue before I upgraded to an amd :p

I bought a new system just because i was fed up with the Broadcom driver in my old MB not allowing me to setup an WiFi-AP...
But now im screwed again by Intel due to AX210 on my MB and their driver disables AP's in any higher as 2.4GHz... FU Intel+nVidia from my side...

PEvery game console uses amd for graphics, and consoles are something like.. 70% of game market?
RDo they really though? Unless by 'supporting Linux' you mean - somebody cares to test whether it launches in Proton properly.

GWe shouldn't hope that their "end" is coming soon at all. We should just hope for more open source technologies allowing us to be agnostic with what hardware we choose. Intel is already very good at this front along with AMD

PI haven't had any issues with Intel, I just went amd CPU to match the gpu. Idk if it matters I just figured it might be smoother than mixing

PArc gpu having a huge performance hit on older directx turned me away. A large percentage of my game time is in games that are like 10 years old

GTo be fair, so is AMD, lol. They've gotten the support they have because they opened their driver stack. If they didn't, I guarantee it would have been just as slow or worse than Nvidia's support
