GTo be fair, so is AMD, lol. They've gotten the support they have because they opened their driver stack. If they didn't, I guarantee it would have been just as slow or worse than Nvidia's support

PIntel has quite a bit of open source afaik
GThe drawback to the open source approach is you need to be on bleeding edge kernel and mesa versions for new hardware support (and even then, it's not immediate). With Nvidia's blob, it's pretty much immediate support
GSupport does end up being far better in the long term with AMD
Ai might just say goodbye to nvidia if they havent fix their garbage lol

GIntel is actually very good with open source stuff - the Arc cards are just still considered quite experimental
