Tyou can do this if you want, but there isn't really "MO2 for Linux" everything you'll find regarding MO2 on Linux is just installing it into either its own prefix or into a game's prefix

Kload order is defined in the launcher, change it however you need
Apulled the latest bazzite updates, rotation confirmed fixed on the LGO for desktop and nested desktop

Pwait idk why i didnt think to just run one of those isntallers in a container to do it the lazy way
PI wouldn't install more than 2 mods without a mod manager. And fyi, the TTW installer currently doesn't actually run on linux, but you can copy the generated files over.
Seems like Wine doesn't properly emulate GetDiskFreeSpaceEx Windows API function which I use. Free space check can be easily disabled in the installer though.
SThat's what I'm saying I've done it with Morrowind and it gets chaotic quickly with overrides
Tis this related to the issue where some installers calculate the free space at the drive level rather than at the folder level?
PI modded starfield manually, but that was only because it was so early-days there weren't enough complex mods to matter

Paccording to that you can probbaly just pass an argument to the installer and bypass the check entirely so
SVFS didn't even work for the first few weeks
TI always use winecfg with a new virtual drive to overcome it. perhaps it can be used here

Tso what happens is you'd usually browse to your folder path using
z:\...if you create new drive with a more specific target, it'll use that new target folder as the base line for free space. in my example above,
/mnt/secondd:\the issue I'm talking about arises because in Windows, one does not typically use symlinks across drives while Linux paths are fairly arbitrary on where things can go
Tyou can symlink a drive or folder to anywhere else, and it's not immediately obvious where things are as well

Tmount a folder or two above where you want it to go but along the same path, so if you want something in your home folder, use
/home/USER/home/USER/Games
KFedora has SSH default enabled, but it's prevented from using your password and requires you to configure an ssh key
KIf you do that, I highly recommend using the cockpit flatpak

Tif you still want to use MO2, you can install it into the game's prefix and install the various dependencies
Tnote that you should use MO2 v2.4.4 because 2.5.0+ do not work on versions of wine lower than 8.21 (and no version of GE or Proton are based on 8.21)
SMean I have no other option cause manual is horrible to do and Vortex sucks ass

vcrun2019side note: the git version of SteamTinkerLaunch locks MO2 to v2.4.4, which alleviates part of the issue if you want to go that route, but I don't know what you'd need to do to get that working with the GOG version
Tanother note: I only install MO2 for fun. I haven't played a Fallout game in years
