RShould tray icon for Solaar (GNOME) appear at all times when solaar was launched or only when any compatible device is connected to Deck? Because right now no icon is displayed in tray whenever I launch Solaar. AppIndicator extension is enabled.
FYou need to include it into initramfs arguments directly, just rebuilding does not work.

RFigured it out - It seems that tray icon (and solaar itself will work in the background) only if there is already a compatible device connected by the time solaar is launched. If solaar is launched with
--window=hide option and there is no device connected, then it will silently close immediately.Hthats the example file

the issue is that if you pass new args to

QSteam streaming just gives a black screen and sunshine seems to be doing software encoding
