Tit may be an unsupported configuration for obvious reasons, but i think the choice is fine for desktop users. plus

RShould tray icon for Solaar (GNOME) appear at all times when solaar was launched or only when any compatible device is connected to Deck? Because right now no icon is displayed in tray whenever I launch Solaar. AppIndicator extension is enabled.
FYou need to include it into initramfs arguments directly, just rebuilding does not work.

Has in you need to use an rpm-ostree initramfs argument that you put in a text file in that location which includes the modprobe file.

In Bazzite we rely on adding things to initramfs for the user, this is done by bazzite-hardware-setup and because the rpm-ostree initramfs command overwrites any previous arguments with the new ones and it is also picky with formatting (you can get the current initramfs arguments from rpm-ostree status | grep -A 4 "●" as opposed to rpm-ostree in...
Hyou just add the arguments, do you not include 
rpm-ostree initramfs --enableand if it can be enabled with a dracut module you can add the dracut module as you would on a normal fedora install and just issue the rebuild (using our workaround)

RFigured it out - It seems that tray icon (and solaar itself will work in the background) only if there is already a compatible device connected by the time solaar is launched. If solaar is launched with

AI'm at a point where I'm convinced bazzite just hates my bluetooth headphones. My laptop can hook up to em fine and that's also on Fedora 39 but bazzite just wants nothing to do with anything. Annoying...

QDid bazzite inherit the whole hardware encoding mess from regular fedora?
QSteam streaming just gives a black screen and sunshine seems to be doing software encoding
