MI've been printing drill jigs that use these common threaded drill bushings off Aliexpress and it works like a champ. I use them to tap holes as well, which keeps the tap perpendicular for the crucial beginning of the thread forming.

SMy Brunner lasts only seconds if you pull hard continuously, but using trim to reduce back pressure helps.

Phey m8, you might need to use the search bar in some of the showcase, diy build & maybe the suggestions channels. But from memory ppl were either removing or lowering the cross bar that is already there for center mounting. Most were using some type of custom plate for the actual mounting, but I think I saw 3d printed ones so you don't need to go crazy & get custom machined stuff.
SYou either have to be good at metalworking or you go to your local thrift store and buy a chair. And then buy som lumber

SI got a piece of plywood the size of the NLR seat footprint and mounted my Rhino to the floor.
BI mainly fly the Harrier and have kept just the standard profile but I did add end stops at 90ish %. I have also reduced the max amount of deflection needed for roll because I have a VR pit and it will interfere with my nozzle lever and leg.
Cthe default connector that comes on the unit fits TM sticks with no adaptor, correct?

Lso i assume that you set min/max for X and Y, and those values are stored, but after a power off and you move the stick unpowered, does it need to home first before use? most of the videos i see of it being powered just go to center, but im assuming the board is remaining powered and it hasnt lost its positional data
FNah I unplug the whole thing days at a time and it's fine

SOn power up it reads the absolute single turn encoder position. It uses the previously stored min/max as the axis limits.

Lim sure i remember @walmis posting about this not being a problem a while back when i got my kit, im aware there are "single throw" absolute encoders that can rotate multiple times as part of their entire throw, but i think i remember it being a software fix or something
FIf your system allows multiple rotations you should make sure it's within the correct rotation upon startup(ie if one rotation is 10° movement it should be within 5° either side of the center)
SYea that’s why I size the gear or belt ratio to use just short of 1 full motor rotation
