Ah yes, i royally fked up my working install by getting hardlocked with password stuff. Watching the guide, one thing that came across my mind is that i have a broken efi mapping in my shared vfat partition. I've now deleted both boot and fedora entry in EFI, kept microsoft. lets see if that solves the issue.

Yes, after nuking those directories which created persistent EFI records, it now works by selecing automatic assignment in storage..
