GIn DCS how do the settings in the configurator interact with what DCS is giving?

NConfigurator sets the max capability for a given effect type. A sim can send the FFB command for “%50 spring”. That will be %50 of whatever your configurator spring settings are.

NYes. Some modules also vary the amount of dampening on the controls. The resulting force you feel will be affected by the damper settings in Configurator.
Same goes for all the stuff in TelemFFB. Most of those effects are "periodic" type. So while you can adjust each effect individually in TelemFFB, they are all really "% of configurator value"

GThat may explain the issue I'm finding with the apache, I have an offset grip so have -5.5% static force and that allows the stick to centre perfectyl for every module........ except the apache which seems to want -2.5%

NYou can dynamically load configurator profiles per aircraft with TelemFFB
GAh cool, found it. Didn't relate the two I had assumed that was a settings file for TelemFFB itself...

SI know I’ve asked a few times but I’ve finally finished my move. Does anyone have any budget friendly Rhino compatible rig recommendations? I love the 80/20 style. Happy to build my own if there are plans too.
HMine is side mounted with Monstertech mounts. Whether you consider that budget friendly though 
SI tried desk mounting but my desk isn’t that strong and it limited me. I do want a full rig style one. I like the racing sim ones just without the angled racing chair and with actual mounting options
HYeah, desk mount won't cut it, mine's still chair mounted and that works well

SAfaik the kits are less just assemble them and more u get the motors and the controlboard and the rest u gotta make yourself if u arent a builder just preorder a rhino now and if u dont want it in the end u can always cancel
Fyes, the kits are basically: here are the motors and control board, figure out the power supply, grip interface and gimbal yourself
Fthere are some build kits others have made for the diy kits though, often for the 57 motor variant
RAnyone noticed flap setting (Half/Full) offsets rudder spring center to the left for DCS F-18? I'm thinking it's a bug on the DCS, just wonder if anyone else see the same. It could be just me but the FFB value for the rudder from the DCS F-18 feels like it's based only on one side of rudder surface, while it should be the average of both left and right. If it was normal spring rudder pedal it probably wouldn't matter but FFB seems taking hit on this.
SAnyone know the turnaround time on the motor/pcb kits?
Ntelemffb does look only at right rudder since the trim following code is written in a generic way and the right rudder is the only value with data when an aircraft only has one vertical stabilizer. If it averaged both, then for those single rudder aircraft it would only ever be %50 of the actual value.
In order to resolve this on the hornet, it will require special code just for that module to account for the fact that the rudders toe-in with flaps

MCouple of days usually. The bigger motors were having supply issues though

TI had this, but I fixed it, sorry I can’t recall how, but it was easy.
GHow are the joysticks connected to the rhino? are they custom built or are it is compatible with ones built by thrustmaster for example

MI just bought the COWS DA-42 for MSFS, but not having any luck at all trying to get the ailerons/elevator axis to be controlled by TelemFFB. It jumps between actual stick position and centered many times per second, as if there is a conflicting input - but I have nothing else assigned to those axis. It works fine in every other plane. Very odd. I don't think they are using a custom simconnect variable, but how could I find out?
NI dont have the aircraft but I see this on their discord. The probably has the info you need.
Nlook at the document as specified for setting up SPAD/FSUIPC.. will have the same L:var info you need for TelemFFB

CHi guys, I’m currently on the waiting list and with the current numbers it’s looking like I may get invoiced around June / July. Sadly my car has just cost me all my savings, after it broke down. Does anyone know if there is a way I can request my order get delayed until later on In the year, ( October / November ish ) to allow me to save up again?
