This just started happening today, does anyone know a fix for this error while building cf pages + functions:

. I'm having trouble getting a hello world with functions working locally or when deployed. Hoping I can get some guidance here.

I used a Solid JS starter project from here (https://developers.cloudflare.com/pages/framework-guides/deploy-a-solid-site/) and then added a

I am using the mailchannels integration (via their rest api), and randomly (about 1 out of 5 emails) fails with this error "{"errors":["Failed to send email: EOF"]}". I cant find any info on this and don't know whats wrong. I can just send the exact same email html to the exact same destinations and it will fail sometimes. Thoughts?

There are no guarantees about isolation between requests. Generally, the isolate is only reused by a single browser/client, so putting stuff in the global scope won't save you much

I have a Pages project that I needed to upgrade to use Queues, but it turns out I can't add consumers in Pages? This is pretty disappointing. I figured I'd be able to make a new function that could be a consumer so I could keep all my code in one project.

Create a function which you can send a POST to that calls an email API like SendGrid to send the email for you. You need the function so that you can use secrets/api keys (passed in through environment variables) that should not be revealed in the frontend.

If this function is for something like a contact form that is exposed to the public (you don't have to log in to use it), then take extra precautions to prevent abuse. Add CSRF prevention and rate limiting.

Even though it's a single endpoint, you might want to consider using a microframework like Hono since it has built in middleware you can apply that does CORS, CSRF, and there's a 3rd party rate limiter middleware as well.
