DOh holy hell!!! This was it!!!! Thank you!!! My pitch axis was inverted and needed to be checked in the Configurator. Then going back to DCS, I made sure the pitch axis was not inverted in the DCS bindings, it is not and now it works!!!!
DThere is no physical adapter? Or is there. I have a WW F-16 Grip, but just ordered the TM F-16 grip to use with the Rhino.

IThe Apache definitely needs pedal trim unless you have no springs on the pedals
II use central position mode for the pedals
FHonestly i disagree, using pedal trim makes it hard to control when you remove trim
FWhen it jumps to the new position youll sway pretty bad
INot if you use central mode. When you click the trimmer, it holds that spot until you recenter the pedals

DThe pedals can either have a spring or no centering spring.
IFor helos, no spring would be best then you don't have to worry about pedal trim
DOkay, I am definitely going to have to practice to get used to flying with no spring in the pedals, but this is making me super excited for the upcoming helos.
DHoly crap! I cannot stress how much I have been missing in the FFB experience with this one simple fix of making sure the axis were not inverted in the configurator. It is a whole new game! Amazing, simply amazing.

TSo DCS curves arent compatible with FFB? Im assuming there's a similar option in the telem software or whatever ?

Nnot just DCS curves, but curves + FFB in general. If you think about what would happen when the center is no longer [0,0], it no longer makes sense. It also isn't feasible to try to move the curve with the center position.
In MSFS, where we are in full control of the axis position via TelemFFB, we support axis scaling/saturation.
Unfortunately in DCS, setting the saturation results in the same divergence of axis [x,y] versus FFB (physical) [x,y] across the range of an axis.

Tgood point. saturation curves work well when a stick is centered with springs after a trim, but it doesnt make sense with a force trim staying in position
MNo they are ball bearings not spherical bushings. They have 2 rows of balls and the outer race is dished so they can deflect off-axis while carrying radial loads. These things
MI see. In theory you need to grease these once in a while. I wish these existed as sealed bearings

BFor the DCS Av8B flyers here, does your Rhino wobble left to right after engine start? And it then gets progressively stronger if you let it. Really strange

AI am doing something wrong. Trying to map the Rhino in IL2 and the game does not react to movements in the stick. any idea?

Nits pretty easy to over-do dampen/friction/inertia and create an oscillation loop. if you post screenshots of your configurator effects and settings tab in #support we can look and see if anything looks suspicious.

SWow just wow. Tried by now Mustang, Flanker, Warthog C, Tomcat, Strike Eagle, Harrier, Fulcrum, Hornet... was expecting how trim works on all planes but still positively surprised how well it is now reflected with default stick settings. I didn't even had to calibrate that thing. I think guys already have done it before shipping it to me. Thx!
