Sorry I’m more confused now lol. So I’m trying to just use one internal 2tb ssd to dual boot windows and bazzite. I want to be able to play games that I have installed internally while I’ve booted into either windows or bazzite. I want to also use windows for productivity and photo editing. In this case do I partition the drive in half essentially? If I do, where do I keep the data for the games and which os do I use to install them?
Right but I’ve heard people talking about making a shared btrfs partition so that they can access their games and files either in bazzite or windows. I guess I’m confused on how that works because other people have recommended I only use 2 partitions on the drive but it sounds like the original advice requires 3 partitions? Or am I just not understanding
Can I store anything I want on that third partition? Like is there a benefit to me making the windows and bazzite partitions as small as possible while they still work and then just putting all my games and pictures and word docs etc on the shared btrfs partition?
