DRight but I’ve heard people talking about making a shared btrfs partition so that they can access their games and files either in bazzite or windows. I guess I’m confused on how that works because other people have recommended I only use 2 partitions on the drive but it sounds like the original advice requires 3 partitions? Or am I just not understanding
BYou'd need another, shared drive
BYou cant add another steam install as a drive
BYou'd need a third partition, for any games you'd use between the two

BOr another drive, even a hard drive could suffice

Pif you want a bad experience on windows try using any of the FUSE drivers
Pfuse-sshfs is the worst thing you can install on a windows machine
DCan I store anything I want on that third partition? Like is there a benefit to me making the windows and bazzite partitions as small as possible while they still work and then just putting all my games and pictures and word docs etc on the shared btrfs partition?

Pyeah do what you please with it BUT keep in mind it might be less reliable if you're loading it under windows
KYes I agree, keep it to games and maybe have a extra partition for your important files
Pi would suggest just using a network share or something to store your other documents

DHmm well realistically if I don’t plan to use bazzite to access those documents, then maybe I can do like a big windows partition which includes the important files (maybe 700gb-1tb) , 100gb for bazzite and 1tb-1.2tb for shared games
Pthat would be safer for those important files if they just stay on windows' NTFS partition
