distrobox is pretty powerful tool. You can install other linux distros and use their package software and package managers to install software that runs natively. Arch aur in Fedora in is pretty awesome
A quick google tells me that some optiplex can be have their bios reset by having a jumper inserted on 2 pins on the motherboard. And if that fails, pulling the cmos battery might also work.
Besides any concern with speeds, would having a Steam library on a NAS using btrfs? I can't think of any reason why it would be an issue, but figured I'd ask first.
Is it normal to see this freespace error in the updater? "installing package libva-nvidia-driver..... needs 16KB more space on the /usr/share/doc/libva-nvidia-driver filesystem"
I think sometimes the fedora distrobox, when it's being updated, because those files are socketed into the distrobox from the host filesystem as read-only, so when the fedora distrobox tries to update the package it can't overwrite some of the files
