MVery interesting to find that Retroarch also detects HDR when running the steam version of the application. I am not a developer, so I wonder if there's anything we can think of that would cause flatpaks to not detect HDR on Bazzite. Is it a permissions thing, or related to something not being readable by the flatpak?
K5.27 was a midcycle, so I assume everything that's not a big major version (And that just came out) is a midcycle
Mthis is an issue with moonlight;s flatpak as well but honestly ive not had the time to add an additional vector of bug testing to my current agenda

LSo, first time I've tried HDR on KDE Desktop in a long time and to my surprise... the colors and everything are just working. Before it was not doing so well.
LPlayed a little Dark and Darker to really set the mood and man did the colors pop.

Jif you care about your friend and he's on an nvidia card don't recommend an entirely new OS

Hi would honestly sit down with them and learn what they expect to do with it and decide on OS from that, and if you go with bazzite then teach them how to know if a game is supposed to work on linux or not
