FTurbulence (in MSFS): how do you increase its effect? I don't see any turbulence setting in either the config app or VPforce. I already have turbulence set to realistic in MSFS. In my Brunner FFB software I have a setting for it, so I hope I just can't find it...?
Nanyone else using the vkb adapter with the metal connector upgrade finding it's tearing up the threads?
Nvkb adapter threads just fine onto a nylon connector as well as a PLA z-extension, but hates the metal connector, haven't been using it because I'm scared to

DHello folks, is there a good setup for DCS and the rhino? i had some strange behavior when using the ffb function in dcs. when flying the f14 everything was working as intended. jumping into the f18 there was no real center at the stick and the plane was rolling and pitching the whole time. now with the f4 i disabled ffb in dcs and in the rhino software and use it as a "normal" base. maybe someone can send me some settings for the rhino software and dcs?
MIf you had no centering with the hornet, that's a dcs bug, happens sometimes with ffb, with any module. Restarting the client usually fixes it. The hornet's ffb implementation is decent. The F-4s is pretty bad unless you tune the fuck out of it

SHey guys - I'm approaching single digits in line. Is there any accessories I'll need to buy that will go along with the Rhino. I think there's a thing that limits the range of motion. Thanks
Athere are throw limiters, yes, I'd recommend getting some (or building some yourself once you've had the chance to try the rhino out and figure out what kind of limiters you need)
AAlso what grip are you planning to use? Some require adapters, some don't
Aalso I believe there's a metal connector piece or something like that for the grip attachment, I'd look into that especially if you intend to switch grips from time to time

TI've got a WinWing F-16 stick, so I added the adapter. I have a 3d Printer, do I NEED to order limiters or anything that I can't print?
THow I will mount It I have no idea yet, so i'll poke through here for ideas. Full 6dof, actuator based rig w/ a RigMetal Ultimate.

TMounting the Rhino is a project in its own haha
Nrigmetal is 4080-based yeah? monstertech has a plate, and walmis also has a similar plate available in the order form
TYup - so this plate will work for floor mounting (feet area) on the RigMetal (it's 4080 based, standard extrusion)

WSome people prefer metal, for durability, when changing grips often. I personally haven't had issues with the stock ones. Just don't cross thread the stock one and it will last forever

SIf i wanted to upgrade/make a FFB collective how would i go about doing that? Make a collective base from stratch or would i upgrade a base (like for example virpils offering) with a motor kit?
SI hadn't thought of that. What forces would you expect to feel through the collective?
SWell if possible the same as for example a ffb throttle stuff like AP/AI copilot/FCS inputs to the collective
SOk. I didn't know helo's had that, but I see how it would be helpful. Sounds similar to the A/T on a Boeing, if I'm understanding correctly.
SOne thing that i think would be nice is if ur in AP the collective moves since you might disengage the AP if you accidentally move the non ffb collective while a ffb collective wouldn't completely negate that, it would still mean that there isnt a significant difference in ingame and irl collective position
